You confuse lead with "the lead".

in an ensemble cast there shouldn't be any true leads. There can be A list and then secondary supporting, but there can be multiple leads without any single character hogging the show or being the center of every story. Steve didn't want to be the center of every story anymore.
Then what was the problem with John being in his story?
IMO the difference was that when john McBain showed up both Sam and Jason were changed at their core to try to make the so called connection of mcbam happen.

Steve lost his leading lady and Jason lost his wife, his status as Sam's rock, his baby story, his action scenes, the birth of his baby with Sam which the pairing had wanted for years. John even wore Jason's color and leather jacket. It was pathetic how it happened.

Yes it was the typical uneducated sounding crazy ass KeMo/JaSam stans attacking Siamers and now they are attacking Scrubbies too. The anon on DD was right, SIKB is a troll because she trolls on twitter with the KeMo stans

They're all just as crazy as they claim Siam/Scrubs fans are. They sound awfully uneducated too.
Scrubbies are just as bad. They do the same thing. Troll and attack.
Yup, they come across as insanee.

I ask again, the stelly mind set is lead with lead. So how does that work if SBu wanted more of a "supporting" role? Your post reads stelly wanted their lead story to be about them and it torqued them off it got hi-jacked by ME.

So Steve had a problem with that? It seems a little petty to me to think that no other characters should wear black when that is one of the most popular colors for cops to wear. As far as characters being developed that happens all the time. When Jason went from q to Morgan, when Sam went from independent con woman to wanting to have a family. The big difference this time was that Sam was getting another male in her story, when previously only Jason was allowed to have other females in the story

I would agree. Jason wasn't the center of every story. I was just going along with the complaints that he ate the show and all the stories eventually became about him. But I agree with your point. I also agree that no one knows what Steve asked for, what was offered. But Steve basically said FV ended negotiations. And came right out and said that what he wanted was to be able to block tape his scenes to allow him to spend more time with his family.

Happy for Steve that he got what he wanted at Y&R. Happy for #GH to have Billy Miller as the new Jason. It's a win/win for me.
Can't stand Burton, can't separate the person from his work. Maybe I could if he was a better actor.
Yeah, that would be me too, at this point. Tried giving Burton the benefit of the doubt over the years, but the evidence of him being a selfish, self-centered prick was more overwhelming every time he opened his mouth as the years went by.

He was very gracious when he invited ME to join "the guys" for his going away bash. He even thanked Easton for the lovely parting gift -- a copy of Easton's book. No Ego there. At all.
