Length of contract means nothing if they want you gone

If they wanted to hold their cards close to the vest, not mess up big reveals or twists, they would sign long term regardless of their plans.

Ask Mark Dobies about his 4 year contract at OLTL, under FV, and how long he stayed. Signing him for exactly the time they needed him would have left too many clues about where they were going with story.

Therefore anyone who claims to know JT signed short term, and uses that as proof is lying from the get go.
:uh-wtf Doesn't that mean they signed him for the amount of time they needed him?
Not necessarily

I think he's an ABC intern. That's why Son lets him troll.

I have contract information too.

Studios want actors to sign long term no matter what. This gives the networks and studios breathing room to use the actors as they please without worrying about negotiating longer stays. The studios can end a contract with an actor during cycle renewals which occur about 4 or 5 times a year.

This is a standard method which all networks use. The cycles are stipulated by the unions so actors can't be terminated without notice.
That's pretty much what I said.

That's why anyone claiming JT signed short term is lying

No. They sign actors beyond the amount of time they THINK they might need them.
So, that means they needed him for less than a year.

Corporate accounts.

I'm not a rating hater, it's all silly to watch people go nuts over a .1 up or down. But this is some big spin. Everyone knows if you are stuck with the same numbers you had all year, it's bad. Networks don't like shows that are stagnant. They want you to increase ratings every year. GH has only gone up about 300,000 to 400,000 since 2012. That's not a huge feat considering how many people stopped watching around that time or the fact that their competition ended thanks to 4 soaps being cancelled in 2 years.

Whatever you say. But I'll go with the person I got the information from , they would know.
If they said he signed short term they are lying.

Maybe.

I dunno I could be wrong but everything right now points him to leaving.
New family, new sets for him, tied to tons of upcoming story.
It won't be long before someone else from his past shows up to tell him Ava isn't the mother of his child, Nina is Kiki's mama.
Nina's sudden friendship with Franco, the clinic card and her reaction to what Sam said to him about her will have Silas tuned back in to reality. His so called wife is a fraud!

I don't know about scrubs but jasam are not over. Didn't ya'll listen to Kelly, she isn't going to point blank lie to her fans, she doesn't play like that.
Was this said during one of her rare sober moments?
