Nation Full Name: Republic of New Arizona Nation Short Name: New Arizona Ethnicity: admin entered based on history/laws Religion: Catholic Government: Republic, President elected every four years Population:admin entered based on history and laws Various Laws: Gay Marriage: No Abortion: Only allowed if the mother’s life is at risk. Destruction of State Symbols: Punishable by five years in prison. Civil Liberties (Usually too many to list): Pretty much what the Bill of Rights says Free religion, right to bear arms, Private Property, Free Press Gun Carrying: Unrestricted expect if one has severed jail time Alcohol: 18+ Conscription: During war all men 18+ must serve. But all volunteer force during peace time. State Armed Forces: Admin Government Approval Rating: Admin Stability Rating: Admin History: As the United States ended, Arizona and New Mexico merged to gain the full advantage of each other resources. During the bid for independence its National Guards were able to successfully secure its borders. The new government quickly declared marital law keeping bloodshed to a minimum. Therefore New Arizona has a very intact infrastructure. New Arizona also has large amounts of technology thanks to labs in New Mexico. A few days later New Arionza was declared a Republic and elections were held soon after. There are still two main parties the Conservative Party and Liberal Party. In the first elections the Conservatives were able to win an overwhelming majority in the government. Local governments have been given more freedom in local affairs.
