Shh... Come to The Doll House.
Name: Sora Capree
Age: 17
Height: 4'6"
Toy Type: Doll
Appearance: Posted Image

(Or if/when I decide I want her to have long hair again...)Posted Image

Sora Capree's doll form is just like what you see in the picture, long blonde hair, hand crafted features, ball joints, and a Victorian style dress. The Sora that you'll meet now is different in a mild way. She did have the same long hair, but it bothered her with it's constant reminder of her previous abuse. Just like her past, Sora got rid of the hair by cutting it to her jaw, adding bangs to frame her face properly. Her eyes are soft and blue, standing out only because they lack the blackness of a pupil. Her facial features are soft and petite, a small, slightly upturned nose, pale rose lips, and easy cheekbones. Her lashes are long and black, casting neat shadows on her cheeks when she blinks. Her body structure is all together rather small. Only standing at a max of 4'6", she resembles a human child more than anything.

History: Built a while before Loo, as far as she could remember, Sora had been passed from owner to owner-- each more abusive then the last. At one point, her hair had been a sticky mass, her cheeks smeared with sticky colors, and her dress in tatters. She looked like a dog's chew toy rather than a dog when Abigail found her. The little girl was a godsend, her father a toy maker himself. When he set eyes on the poor, battered Sora he was enraged. Who could treat such a doll in that way? So he set to work, restoring Sora back to her original condition. Abigail had been so excited that she wanted this doll to be able to talk and walk as well. Walking the streets of London with Sora, Abigail came across a dark alley. A man had offered her a magic spell book that could make her doll talk, and of course... Abigail jumped for the opportunity. However the spell went wrong and Sora grew into the human-like girl she is today. A few weeks after her doll-hood became a memory, Sora grabbed the book and took off to find a place in this world where she could free more dolls.

She reached the Americas during a war between her home turf and this strange country. The Revolutionary War was in full swing, and dolls and other toys were being forgotten for wooden muskets. She found Lulu Shavel forgotten on a dusty shelf, the little toy soldier left behind for a musket. She was sure the doll wouldn't be missed and set off to set this toy free. And thus began the two's journey into friendship. Sora layed out their mission-- to set all the toys free. They'd open a shop in London, a place they'd play out to be an Antique Toy shop called The Doll House. Donations and sales exploded within a month, and many toys were to be brought alive. The two worked feverishly to bring all these toys alive-- but alas, something was bound to go wrong. A toy revolted, taking with him a few dozen others. Thus became the Rebels. Now, along with the stress of bringing new toys to life, Sora and Loo had to worry about a war starting between the two forces. Loo was assigned the leader of the Toy Army while Sora tried and tried to bring their forces up. With their numbers depleted to a dangerous level, Sora brought to life Raggo Braino-- their first new Designer since the revolt. It was Loo's job to help train this new recruit while Sora continued to build their members. It'd take a long time for them to achieve their mission safely, but Sora and Loo were determined..

((And this still sucks. My bad.))

Loo Shavel.
Member Avatar
Leader of the Toy Army.
Name: Lulu (Loo) Shavel
Age: 17
Height: 5'7"
Toy Type: Toy Soldier-- wooden.
Appearance: Posted Image

Loo is a tall, thin girl with waist length pink hair. Her transformation from toy-hood to Come-alive-hood was quite dramatic in the sense that she looks almost nothing like she did in her small, wooden form. Her bangs hang in her face in whispy strands that edge a gritty frame around her face. She stays dressed in a dark skirt that falls the middle of her thighs, white/black over the knee boots with a slight heel, and a red, white, and blue top that combines the uniformity and ease of a tank+coat combination. Atop her head sits a boxy, billed hat that follows the colors of her uniform. When needed, her outfit changes colors to the traditional Doll House black+pink+white color combination.

Eyes of icy blue are almost always soft and sparkling, though masked by her hair at times. Her lips are a soft pink, curled into a smile to reveal straight, white teeth. Her skin is milkly off-white, and her fingers long and thin-- though covered by black/white gloves. Her ears are pierced with a small blue bead and a gold band on the top edge of her ear.

History: WAR! Young children once in love with toys now dropped these play things for wooden muskets and jobs in the home. Even Loo's beloved Tommy left her behind. Lulu Marie Shavel was carved and painted two years before the American Revolutionary War. She was a small toy, only standing at a mere 4 inches tall, complete with a uniform and a sword. She was an ordinary toy, nothing impressive about her. Pale blonde hair and dull brown eyes hand painted. A dull British army uniform with a matching boring sword at her side. Nothing stood out. She sat on the shelves of that store for a year before little Tommy found her. He was a Godsend. He gave her hope. He saw in this boring little toy the spark of adventure. Together the two explored their town. She watched over him on his bedside table while he slept, just like the most loyal soldier would. But then came the fighting. Men were called to fight against the British, and now the young boys wanted nothing but to be like their fathers. Toy muskets were the things of the day. Tommy forgot her. Left her on the bedside table for a good two months before his mother took Loo to thrift shop and sold her. Who would want a toy so bland? A toy dressed in British clothing?

Sora Lee Capree did. But not for play. Loo had trouble seeing what this short, child-like woman would want with a boring old toy like herself. But Sora saw potential. Sora took her back to London and preformed some weird spell. Instantly the toy soldier grew into the 5'7" lady she was today-- except she was still bland. Loo expressed her worries to Sora. The child-like toy just smiled and gestured to the table full of supplies behind her. Fabric, thread, dyes. All of it sparked her imagination. Loo went to work sketching up ideas of how to make herself more.. More impressive. In remembrance of her home and Tommy, her uniform was styled in the American fashion. Her hair took on a bright, fabulous pink. Her eyes, difficult to change, moved from boring brown to a sharp, brilliant blue. This was the new Lulu Marie Shavel.

Together Loo and Sora set out to free more toys from their abusive, forgotten state. Loo promised to stay by Sora's side, which was more than a few toys they had freed could stand to say. The mini- Doll House revolution tore them apart. Left with only the pair of them, Sora and Loo had to rebuild and restart. Loo hoped beyond anything that The Doll House would be strong enough to hold up against the forces of The Rebels.. If only hope made all the difference..
