Hi, For more than half a century Doctor Who has been transporting viewers across space to alien worlds and through time, from the distant past to the far future. In the process the series has explored a huge range of scientific ideas, from black holes to artificial intelligence, and, in the form of the Doctor him/herself, it’s given us an image of the scientist as hero: brave, rational and endlessly curious. In the book, The Scientific Secrets of Doctor Who, and this talk, writer and documentary maker Simon Guerrier teams up with Royal Observatory Greenwich astronomer Dr Marek Kukula to explore the facts behind the fiction. Doctor Who may not always get its science completely right but, like all great science fiction, it reminds us that the universe is an amazing place, and that a curious mind full of questions can find adventures anywhere. Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References: http://norwichsciencefestival.co.uk/events/scientific-secrets-doctor/ Business Communication Video |
