The hatching officially starts November 17th, this prepost is to prepare you so please read the below information carefully and make sure you are ready.

  • Make sure you have met criteria at least 3 days before a hatching. Criteria is all 6 Applicant lessons and the 3 Applicant Exams. Regardless of criteria status, all Applicants must post an entrance to the Hatching. Any Applicants who do not post an entrance will be removed from the current Applicant list, unless given prior consent from staff beforehand.
  • The hatching will be open for 3 days only; meaning the topic will be considered closed at midnight on Sunday the 19th and no further entrance posts can be posted. Note: this applies only to Entrance Posts to the hatching. Choosing your egg or Accepting your dragon will be open for up to seven days after the hatching has been opened. If you cannot post an Entrance post in the hatching within those three days then please let us know ahead of time. 3 days is plenty of time to get your entrance posted up. If you fail to post in that time, you will not receive any dragon you were eligible for and you must wait until the next hatching.

STAFF POST ~ The hatching has started. We will start the hatching thread, announcing that the bells have started to ring and the eggs are officially moving. AT this time all NPCs are gathering at the hallway and the residents are flocking to the stands to observe the special occasion.

PLAYERS POST ~ You may write your reaction to the hatching starting and rush your Applicant to the hallway to wait for your approval or rejection. We will give you important information concerning the hatching like weather, time of night or day ect...a few days before the hatching so that you may prepare ahead of time.

STAFF POST ~ Once a majority of the Applicants have been posted, we will post the Fort Master reading off a list of Applicants who have been accepted for this particular hatching. If your character has not been accepted, the name will not be read off and your character may move to the observation stands or may go about there busniess if they do not wish to watch. At this time, if you as a player are angered or bothered by the Staff choice to deny your character (regardless of your status of meeting criteria or not) you may PM us but please do not complain in the Cbox or Discord.

As the list has been read off, the remaining Applicants will be handed there strip of cloth to let them know where they are to go and congratulated for being chosen.

PLAYER POST ~ Your character may now enter the sands and approach the appropriate clutch and pick an egg of your choosing. Be sure to title your post in bold your characters name and the number of the egg they are choosing. Example: Applicant Mina - Choosing Egg #2

STAFF POST ~ At this time the staff will post up the hatching scene for your new baby along with the hatchling information: Name, color, element, gender and three basic personality traits of that dragon.

PLAYER POST ~ The last post from you will be accepting your new baby, replying to the hatching scene. Congratulations, you got yourself a dragon :D

After the hatching is over, you have a week to post up your dragon profile via the provided template. If you do not post up your profile then your dragon will be revoked; so if for any reason you will not be able to post it up in the provided template, then let us know and we will work out something with you.

Setting for the 19th Hatching: A windy afternoon, just prior to the lunch bells ringing. Everything still feel damp and there is a slight chill to the air.

The wind was blowing outside, chilly air wafted in through open entry ways and placed a damp and cool feel to the hallways of the Fort itself. Fires were burning hot in the fireplaces in the grand mess hall to help warm things up before meal time, but it was not helping too much. Despite the poor weather conditions, there was an excitement in the air. Something palpitate really, that kind of energy that made your teeth itch and skin crawl.

That feeling was not lost most of all, on Lyerye. He was moving about the sands, trying to clean up bits of random leaf or grass that had been blown in by the hurricanes not too long ago. It was a tedious task but he could tell it was upsetting the mothers. It had to, because they were highly energetic an showing signs of distress as they constantly checked the eggs.

The man felt a strong sense of urgency and turned to face the fetch. That was when he noticed the first movement coming from one of the bigger dragon eggs. It wiggled and twitched, growing in intensity rather quickly which was encouraging other eggs to move as well. The sandsmaster, ran as fast as he could. Rushing to inform the Fort Master of the news. The hatching was beginning!

Short minutes latter, the bells were ringing and flooding all of the Fort, residential sector, bazaar and apartment districts with the chimes that informed everyone. The future was upon them and it was time to gather! All Applicants to the hallway for final judgement, all observers to the stands to watch this momentous occasion begin.

Applicant Kendryl

Kendryl was just about to sit down for lunch when she heard the bells ringing. Ignoring the growl in her stomach, she raced back to her barrack, throwing on a clean white tunic, a blue skirt and her specially purchased boots. The rest of the outfit was plain, almost staid...But the boots...They really were beautiful boots. Beautiful enough to make her forget all about the incident with the crows.

She bound towards the sands with a spring in her step. Which was odd as she was fairly sure she wasn't on the list to receive a cloth...Maybe she was happier than she thought that this would be coming to an end one way or another. As the days had passed, she'd been growing more and anxious with anticipation, some part of her desperately wanting to believe that despite it all, she would be chosen.

She reminded herself as she walked in and joined the waiting applicants that it wasn't the end if this was not her time. It was an honor to be chosen as a Keepr but it was an honor to be an Applicant too. It wouldn't take away from all she had already accomplished. She would still be a mage and an ebonite, with a mentor she respected, good friends cheering her on and Dracadia's cutest quixel awaiting her at home. And she would still have things to look forward to. Possibly rooming with Chinakai. No longer being at the bottom of the class. Refining the new elemite she'd just a week ago managed to create for the first time...Life was good and an expected disappointment didn't change that all. She would go, she would cheer and she would rejoice for those who had made it. They'd all worked hard. Each and every one of them deserved it.

It was hard to keep still. For some reason, every time she so much as shuffled to make way for another new arrival...her feet seemed to dance on their own accord. Clearly, the festive atmosphere was getting the better of one Kendryl of Ket.

Applicant Axios

All tremble, as Axios approached his destiny! He would be a mighty warrior, a great keeper, partner to the strongest dragon to ever crack shell on all of Dracadia. It was afternoon, with a bit of a bite to the air and wing that made his black and red mane flow most magnificently. Not a particularly auspicious day for the beginning of his legend, but a man such as Axios required no great storms or full eclipses to emphasize his importance. He would prove his merit through his own actions and all would remember his name.

He barely glanced at his classmates as he took a spot as close to the entrance as he could get. He was fully confident there was already a cloth destined for him and would be the first to enter, able to secure the prime egg for himself. For nothing but the best would do for Axios Firebird. He would not tolerate weakness or liability. All would recognize his might and bards would sing song to his name! His dragon would obey his every command and adore him as he deserved to be adored and together they would slay many Ternarium and obtain wealth, prizes and renown.

His legend awaited! The fact he had to wait for tardier applicants...it galled him. None of them mattered. All would be forgotten in the face of his victory. Perhaps a few were worthy to ride besides him...but none could match him for strength, determination and sheer flamboyance.

The crazy one (Deborah is just weird).
Applicant Matika
It was both chilly and damp, which made it even more chilly. Matika had gotten her lunch and found a seat closest to the fireplace. She just sat down when the bells began to ring. Glancing down to her meal, she sighed before heading to the hatching sands. Lately she had not been eating that much, which seems to be one of the many gifts from Ebon.

Just out of one of her classes, she was dressed in the usual Applicant attire and smelled a little from the sweat. She was planning to take a quick bath before her next class, but, that all changed wen the bells rang. She joined all the other trying to stay as much down wind as she could. She noticed Axios and stifled a chuckle at the thought of him getting a hatchling. But, she had to admit, he was a very good warrior even if he was a big blow hard. She, also, saw Kendryl and shyly waved to her. She, honestly hoped she would get a hatchling. She had earned it the hard way.

Standing there she looked as calm as one could be in this weather, but, the truth was, she had butterflies in her stomach the size of full grown dragons. She was pretty certain she would get a hatchling, but, what will it be? That was the big question.

Applicant Bane:

"Marv you little twerp," Bane laughed, "Come back here with that!" The small sapphire quixel chittered at him as she ran off with Bane's favorite brush. "Stand," he gave the command to the huge stallion as he darted after his wayward pet. How he'd managed getting himself a quixel he had no idea but he was fairly certain one of his sisters had something to do with it. Not that he complained, mind you, the quixel was sweet and generally good natured. But she was a pest with her thievery. Bane laughed when the quixel doubled back and took a leap at him. Catching her he walked back towards his horse rubbing Marvel's ears as he went. "You're such a naughty girl," he chuckled as he took the brush from her and tossed it back in the box of brushes he kept. Marvel purred as he rubbed her ears before placing her down to move Talon back to his box stall.

Marvel's ears perked up seconds before the first bell rang out and Bane's head snapped around towards the sound. Patting his chest to give Marvel the command for up, the Thayer took held the quixel tight and off he went. Bells ringing meant one thing. Eggs were hatching and it was his time. His moment. He just knew it and he went to his room as quickly as he could. Giving Marvel a command to stay, he tossed on a different pair of clothes and he twitched his wings to settle his nerves. He had no real idea what would happen now. Would he get a cloth? Would he get a dragon? A wyvern? Even a lizardling? He had no idea and none of the lessons really prepared him for it.

Another command to stay for Marvel and Bane his way towards the corridor where the rest of the applicants waited. He wasn't first but he wasn't last. He stood ramrod straight, his hands clasped behind his back with a patience that belied the nervousness in his gut and the light sheen of sweat that coated his forehead. He could do this and he would do this. He would be a keeper and be something more than just a Thayer from that odd battle family. He'd be a keeper and he'd something more than just Bane Silverborne.

Applicant Artemis
Reluctant to appear / arriving last

Artemis was in the magic labs, the only place in this entire Fort that she actually enjoyed being. Though the young Sigum couldn't deny that months of training had strengthen her, she still didn't enjoy it. Artemis wasn't a fighter. Weapon lessons were always terrible. She hadn't won once when she had to spar with other applicants. Her heart just wasn't in it. Did her parents really think that she would learn how to kill people here? Well, not people, Ternarium. She supposed that was different. In a way. She shook her head and focussed back on the spell in front of her. Soon the eggs would be hatching. 6 dragon eggs, 5 wyvern eggs and 5 lizardlings. Yes, she knew the amounts, because there were bets going around. Bets on who was going to be bond with what Dragon.

She hadn't heard her name much. That was good she hoped. Then she wouldn't get an egg and could get out of here. The spell, she was doing this spell. Closing her eyes, she recalled the way it felt. Her defensive wall. It was build-up of flames, burning hot on just the outside. She was trying to infuse air magic into it, so that the flames shot out, pushed by the air, attacking whatever came too close. Protecting herself she saw the point off. Right. Artemis got up and moved to the practise area. Extending her arms, she easily called up the fire wall in front of her. It was steady and strong. Now it was time to infuse the air magic on it. She bound the fire wall so it wouldn't disappear. When she was ready she moved her left hand, starting to make the movements to conjure the wind, sending it into the wall.

The applicant closed her eyes, sending her energy into the wall. In the distance - for her ears felt like she was standing in a storm - she heard the sound of bells. Lunch bells probably. That would come. She fed more energy into her wall. Slowly she slows down, the bells in the distance getting stronger. Not stopping. Wait... Fear struck Artemis suddenly as she realised what was going on. In that instant she lost her grip on her spell, that was far from stable after mixing fire and air. The air pushed out the fire - like intended, but on both sides, not just one. Artemis felt herself thrown back and was just able to shield her face with her arms. She smelled the light burning of the hairs on her arm and hissed, quickly shielding herself with more fire. It was enough to not get seriously hurt.

The magic disappeared and Artemis lay on the ground, panting softly. Her head was reeling and she realised that she had used up most of her energy, deciding that it was lunch time anyway. Expect the bells kept tolling. The eggs were hatching. Slowly the Sigum pushed herself up, hissing as she put weight on her left arm. The skin was burn on several spots and the skin as already pulling on it. Her other arm was fine. She inspected the burns. They were only first degree, knowing that after years of working with fire magic. She would survive. It would sting like hell though. Her head still reeling she stumbled to get up. She steadied herself on a nearby table and sighed. What would happen if she didn't appear? If she just stayed here? She would lose her rank, of course. It was almost worth it.

Slowly she moved through the magic lab, that was empty. Most people had already left for lunch when she had started and now everyone was making their way to the hatching grounds. She grabbed a cookie that was lying around and nibbled on it. Right. Taking a deep breath Artemis started walking. She didn't run - knowing most people would - she didn't bother checking her appearance. She knew with great certainty that they wouldn't give her a Dragon. She hadn't openly rebelled, but she hadn't excelled at anything either. Not even her magic anymore.

Outside she felt the wind blowing around her. All Forts had been struggling with strange events. She made her way to the hallway where all her fellow applicants had already gathered. She didn't acknowledge any of them. Instead she stayed at the back, leaning against the wall. Not just to be less visible but because the rock was cool on her arm and she wanted the support. Now it was time to wait and get this over with.

Applicant Seran eventually wanders in

It was windy, cold, and honestly wet enough to make anyone want to curl up near a fireplace and not move till it warmed up again. No one would blame them really, the hurricane had been nasty and it had done a lot of damage making things hard on everyone, including the dragons whom were currently resting on the sands. They had had a hard time of it considering how bad it had hit the sands but everything was recovered, well mostly. The recovery was taking time but gods and goddesses willing it would be done. They just had to be patience and have faith in the end.

Seran though was not one of those who was hiding inside with the heat and dry. No he was outside working himself into a sweat not caring about the world around him right now. Working mind and body as one, as father had taught him. If one did not work all their abilities at once then one would lack the skills needed to be a true assist to any group. Those who did not work and strive to go beyond their feeble bodies and ideals would find themselves left behind in the dust. And Seran refused to ever be left behind. Especially when it came to his training. No matter the weather he WOULD go do his forms.

Spinning with his swords he crosses them then brings them down in a vicious downward slice that would have excoriated any enemy he faced, especially with force he put behind it. Just as he went to complete his move though the bells in the distance from the Fort start to ring. Frowning he stands down, sheathing his swords before turning to face the Fort. It wasn’t the lunch bell….OH! Blinking he dark black tail flicks for a moment before a grin graces his lips. It was time. Thinking now he takes off running for the Fort I’ll beat you there Arith. He had no clue where she was but heck with it, half the fun was the challenge.

Running through the streets of the city he skids his way to the Fort, finally rushing inside towards the hatching sands. He eventually makes it to the hallway where all the other Applicants were waiting, around the same time his twin did. Not first, not last, but the challenge had been fun and he smirks at her slightly as he settles next to her now. He knew he was ready to see what happened next.Cloth or no cloth he was ready for whatever would come. Spotting a few of the others he knew rather well he grins at Kendryl “good luck Kendryl” wanting to hope good fortune for her. And of course tick off Axios whom he could see impatiently waiting near the front of the line. Part of him prayed to Renn that the other Mesai would see a harsh reality check this time around, though he knew knowing the blow hard Axios would find a way to turn it into a reason to be all about him. But another part of him HOPED he got a cloth, just to shut him up. Lucias was NOT Arc, and he knew the Cadet Master could flatten the big ego that Axios had built up.

Applicant Artih

Arith had been practicing hard with her brother and took a break, taking a swig of water to cool herself down again. She peered over at Seran who was still working rather hard and smiled a little. He was never one to show weakness, neither was she, but she knew when to take breaks. All was well, even the cold didn't bother her as much as it might some. Already most of the applicant class was indoors or avoiding the chilly weather.

She tucked her skin into her belt, and that was when she heard the bells ring, indicating that the hatching has started. Her tail perked up quickly and she didn't even wait for Seran. It seemed that he did't have plans to wait either as he took off running leaving her with a mental challenge. She grinned and took off running for the hallway as well, taking the opposite direction than he had. "You are on brother!"

The Mesai girl ducked and dodged, weaving through throngs of people and determined to make it there first. However, she was being slowed down just as much as Seran was and was going to make it there around the same time he was. She nearly tripped on her own tail as she tried to shoulder around a few other applicants rushing in late like she was and managed not only to not knock anyone over but to make it there only a breath after Seran. The girl gasped for breath as she leaned into the wall, slumping into place beside Seran. "Brat..." she muttered under her breath. At least she had made it and this...was her time to shine!

The crazy one (Deborah is just weird).
Deborah had her wing out on maneuvers when the bells sounded. They made it back in good time, albeit, she did get a few dirty looks. That was until she revealed her ulterior motive for what she did. With all that was happening, she wanted a wing on standby just in case something does happen. She did not want a repeat of what happened when a previous hatching was invaded. Although, they had bolstered all the forts defenses, still, thwarting a god, even, one from another place, is a difficult proposition at best. But, with the defeat of his minions by Ebon, the Ternarium deity could be wanting revenge. Still, what has happened just could be a freak happening and not related to anything. Although, they did understand, they were not happy she did not inform them of her plans, definitely, not one of her better ideas.

She reached the hallway in her full battle garb with Yaszail riding on her head. Finding Kendryl, she headed over to her and commented wryly, "hatchlings do not have any perception of time. They hatch when they feel like it, regardless to what their potential keepers are doing at the moment.. I am glad you made it, but, where is Chinakai." She knew Chinakai and Kendryl were friends.

All my friends are heathens take it slow....Wait for them to ask you who you know......
The Fort Master watched his Applicants arriving and gave each of them that warm and friendly smile of his, a feeling that was needed on a day as cold as this one. Today especially as cold it was right now, he would waste no time as he pulled the scroll free from his belt and shook it free with the same hand. Normal considering the man did only have one arm. Arlon, his assistant, shook his head at his theatrics considering the event was rather serious for him. Lucias and Arc were more calm and used to Gar's penchant for making the reading of makes rather dramatic.

"Welcome Applicants. Thank you for all of your hard work. Many of you have made marked improvement since arriving here with us and we are proud to allow so many of you onto the sands today." he said, grabbing the attention of the Applicants gathered. The man would wait, making sure that everyone was looking and listening before continuing. "Unfortunately, there is not enough eggs out there for everyone which means many of you will not be chosen this time. Fear not, because even if you are not chosen this hatching does not mean you will not get one in the future. You are encouraged to stay on with us and keep working to improve yourself for the next one."

Searching the list now a gentle smile passes over his lips as he reads the first name on the list. Memories of past events made him a bit sentimental about this one as his eyes look to her now “Arith of the Shadowstar tribe come forward and accept your new future.” As he says Applicant Master Keeper Arc stepped forward to hand her a cloth of dark green while saying with a soft smile “Good Job young Lady.”

Scanning the next name on the list an amused grin passes the Fort Master’s lips as he goes to call this one. He could see Lucias sort of shifting a bit at his side, knowing full well the Cadet Master was eager to get his hands on this particular new Keeper as he calls out from the list “Axios of the Firebird tribe come forward and accept your cloth.” Master Lucias had an odd little grin on his face as he pulled out a dark crimson red and handed it to the newly dubbed Cadet.

A few murmurs spread though nothing more since Gar was now getting into the good parts. His eyes shifted to the scroll and he began reading names. More slips of silk went to a Thayer boy who received a lizardling cloth, and then the Kodakai girl of the class received a dragon cloth. Next was another lizardling cloth who went to a Kodakai boy and his sister, a Sigum girl received a dragon. The first group quickly takes their cloths graciously and retreats to the sands.

Looking around a bit he finally narrows his eyes on the next name on his list before deciding to call it out the next applicant for this large clutching of eggs “Bane come forward and accept your new calling in life.” As he says this Arc steps forward again, handing him another of the slowly shrinking pile of Dark green silk cloths that he had. “I wish you well young Bane.”

Fort Master Gar would clear his throat, reading off more names. A Kodakai girl, received the pale blue of lizardling and a Mesai boy received a dragon cloth of red. The name reading moved faster, as the crowd in the observatory made a cheer sound, meaning eggs were moving very fast this time around!

There was a small pause before a soft chuckle escapes him. He knew this one was a surprise to most, including herself but he knew she above all he has chosen so far, deserved what she was about to get. “Kendryl darling girl. I believe that Master Lucias has a cloth he would like to hand to you, if you are willing to accept his gift.” Lucias of course greets the probably stunned Sigum with a smile and a bright red cloth of silk into her hands “Tie it tight and go, your partner is waiting.”

He read off the names of two more Thayers, a boy and a girl, one for a Dragon and one for a Wyvern. With only two left, he brought his eyes up, not needing to read them any longer. "Matika please come forwards and receive your wyvern's cloth." he spoke, motioning her to Arc who held the next of the dark green band and offered it to her.

He was almost to the end. Such a big hatching after all this time took a lot of reading and he had to take a bit of a break before continuing to the last two Applicants. A single light blue lizardling cloth and a dark green wyvern one were all that remained as he called these last two forward “Seran of the Shadowstar tribe, much like your twin I think it is time for you to step up and accept the last cloth for a wyvern.” He smiles some and motions to the young Mesai to get his cloth from Arc. Arc smiles and hands him the last dark green band as he says “I am sure your father is proud right now.” Before finally the last Mesai was called forward, accepting the finally lizardling cloth and hurriedly entering the sands.

Applicant Kendryl- Egg #3

Kendryl had- made it? She was...getting a dragon? H-how? Wh-why? All but speechless, she somehow stepped forward, her walk turning to a merry spin against her will, as she took her cloth. Red? She had red? A dragon...She was going to fly...

"Th-thank you, Arc, Lucias. I-I won't let you down," she murmured, eyes wide as she accepted her cloth from Lucias, tears rising to her eyes as she bound it around her arm, where it was clearly visible. On impulse, she gave Arc, Lucias and Deborah each a hug as she ran into the sands, giving Deborah a wave through a shaky smile.

"I've got to go now Deborah...but I'll take my dragon to meet you soon...And Chinakai too...She's too young for this one...but next time I'll be watching her."

She felt like she was already flying as she walked into the sands. She couldn't just walk, she had to dance and skip and leap...She tried to stop, not wanting to risk crashing into an egg or frightening the mothers but no matter how slowly she tried to walk...She just couldn't.

Oh no...Oh no...Deborah had been right. These boots were cursed...

But it was too late to turn around. So she kept going, despite the blush creeping beneath her Ebonite tan, picking the first egg she saw. It didn't matter which it was. It was hers. And whatever dragonet was inside, it was going to be hers. And that would be enough.

And...maybe she should slide off these boots...But...maybe barefeet would be worse...Oh...Her dragon could just tell her what it wanted when it hatched. And she would do it. Because she was going to be a good Keeper for them, the best she could, whoever they turned out to be.

Arith Choosing Egg #4
Arith perked up hearing her name first! Now granted, she knew that they did these things alphabetically, however it delighted her to no end that her named was called before Axios for one reason and one reason only. Because she got called out before him. The woman moved away from the wall and strode proudly past him on her way to collect her green silk. Her tail flicked right at him, likely his nose (or around that region) and kept walking towards Arc who was holding out her green cloth. She bowed her head respectfully to the man as she retrieved it.

"Thank you very much sir. I will not let you down." chimed the young lass before she scurried away. Yep, way more excited than she was letting on as Arith trotted onto the pipping hot sands and moved cautiously (though energetically) towards the group of Wyvern mother's and there end of the fetch. She had draped the silk around her neck like a scarf. It's bright green coloration shown off vividly against her normal choice of clothing, making it quiet easy for the mothers to see where she was supposed to be.

Arith bowed her head towards the mothers before placing her hand atop the first egg that caught her attention. A slightly off colored wyvern egg that had a bit of a lean to it compared to the others. It wasn't a perfect egg but it was the one that had caught her attention the most. "Come on little thing, I got your back. We are gonna make an amazing pair." she whispered towards the egg in a soft but sweet voice.

Axios- Egg #5

Arith? Her? Well...why not her. The fact that she was chosen before him...it was galling...but at least she was a warrior and a fighter, worthy of being the partner to a dragon. And next...it was no so surprise at all to hear his name called. Although his choice of partner...was. A dragon? He'd planned on pairing his sword with a wyvern's mighty sting...Ah well. It would be what it would be. His dragon would surely be greaat. Because he would not allow it to be otherwise! With a bow and a flourish, he accepted his sash and tied it about his head. It was red, just like his the streaks in his hair. And he did look rather dashing...

At least he'd been second...before Seran and Bane. And from Lucias' smile...the fort was simply delighted to have him as a cadet. Some may have doubted him...but he had persevered against their insignificant challenges and insults. For he was Axios Firebird! Future dragonkeeper, fortmaster and great hero of Dracadia!

He sprinted to the sands without waiting for any other to get their cloth. For he would have first pick. The prime egg. Victory and glory was his! And...yes...thaat one. That egg contained a mighty warrior. Its spirit called to his. Together they would bring fear to their enemies and joy to their allies and carve themselves a place in history and myth.

"Greetings youth and mother! You are in luck! For I, Axios Firebird, have deemed you worthy and chosen you to accompany me into glory!"

Applicant Bane choosing wyvern egg #1

Bane's heart beat a steady tattoo that was interrupted when the Fort Master called out his name. Straightening his shoulders even more, the Thayer moved forward to collect the cloth that the man held out and a breath he hadn't known he'd been holding puffed out. A wyvern. He was getting a wyvern. The Thayer's face split in a grin as he tied the cloth around his wrist. He bowed his head and thanked the man as he moved onto the hot sands. He'd been chosen and he had his cloth, now it was time to chose his egg.

Taking a deep breath he eyed the eggs to choose from and finally made his choice. Moving onwards with as much confidence as he possessed, Bane stood in front of the egg he'd chosen and laid a gentle hand against the shell. He'd known from the beginning that he would get himself a dragon or a wyvern but he was a little surprised he had been chosen already. Bane had been almost certain that there wouldn't be something for him this round but man was he mistaken. His dark eyes were lit up as he waited for the small creature inside the shell beneath his hand to pop out.
