We all know Herms is much more reliable but there's also where Viz beat Herms when it comes on context as well like Goku said Dabura is stronger than he thought according to Herms while Viz has Goku saying that Dabura is tougher than he thought which makes sense due to his magic and abilities.

Is there any error on Viz translation.

That isn't an "error" on Herms' part. Herms did not change the word from tougher to stronger. It is in the original Japanese language. However, the word "stronger" could mean tougher as well. Goku expressed this after his initial fight by saying Cell he is "stronger" than he thought, despite knowing that Cell could put out far more power. Stronger and tougher could mean the same thing it seems in Dragoball.

Chapter: 398 (DBZ 204)
P2.7

Context: after fighting Cell awhile
Goku: “Seems he’s stronger than I imagined…If I let my guard down just a little bit, I’ll be done in instantly...”

There are quite a few errors. It's a good translation, but stuff like Oozaru being 10x their power, the majority of power going to Evil Boo, both Kaioshin's weakening him, and a few other things being omitted were indeed errors.

I don't think so, Pure Boo is though because of his abilities like candy beam, regenerations, mimicks everyone's techniques and his nature as well despite being equal to Goku but still tough to beat him.

As for your example, Goku felt Cell is hiding more power than him because Korin told him Cell is little bit stronger seems like it contradicted IMO.

Herms is far more reliable as a translator goes in my opinion.

Dabura would be a tough opponent due his magic. Even being weaker than Gohan, he was able to hold his own because of it.

This was their initial brief fight where neither were at full power. So Goku was already aware that Cell could put out far more power. Stronger in this case would have to be tougher despite Goku saying the word "stronger". Goku never fought Cell up to that point and wouldn't really have a good idea of how good his fighting skills were. His follow up line keeos things in context, establishing that Cell is a tough opponent. " If I let my guard down just a little bit, I'll be done in instantly..." It just seems the meaning of those words are interchangeable, it is not an "error" though. The original manga cannot be an error.

Suck my dick.

Herms has made some errors like the translation of that quote about Karin and Goku's power levels in the Piccolo Daimao arc, but he at least makes an effort to revise his errors while Viz almost seems to intentionally omit stuff.

I'd go with Herms, but you do have to pay in mind that he is a fan translator.
