How we're going to do this

Part of the reason that I wanted to create this forum, is that it gives us a central place to discuss any issues or concerns we have about game play and things like that. So, as we're thinking about how we're going to do this, this seemed like a good place to do that.

Snikmorder, I assumed that you would be the Dungeon Master (at least that's what Gideon seemed to think), so I gave you that title on this forum. You're the man in charge, and I gave you full moderator rights on the forum with which to wield your power. ;)

Do you have a book yet? If not, should we share the cost of that? A lot of the things like character sheets, we can get online, and we can use a random number generator in lieu of dice (unless you think the dice are too nerdily cool to pass up). :P

When I played in junior high (way too long ago to really remember much), it was just three of us. So, I imagine that we could try to do it with the three of us, but it would probably be lame and we'd want more people.

Anyway, those are my thoughts for the moment.

I've talked to John and he is "considering it". I think a call from Jason could help convince him. Who knows... I also think about 5-6 people would be the best grouping of people.

Also, I have found a great Player Compendium or Handbook at Barnes & Noble and it was EXTEREMELY informative about classes and races, combat, and everything D&D. I also saw several books for Dungeon Masters. They weren't cheap though. $35 a pop. I might pick up a handbook and see if I can scan in some info we can post online here to help everyone with questions on game play.
