Have you seen Jeanne d"Arc, the film starring Milla Jovovich? I liked it much and I even bought a book, also entitled after her name. I really got into the story of this girl, read all the facts I could gather from all sources, but this book was the most extensive by far. It also quoted lots of things that Jeanne had actually said (I mean contemporary sources had recorded them). I was amazed how many of them can be found in the film itself. As one of the few famous women involved in wars, she is a favourite of mine. Anyone with thoughts, comments on this topic?

Yeah I liked the movie only because it was with Milla. The book I haven't read yet so I cannot say anything about it. And to tell the truth I never liked french history dunno why... -_-

It's not about the book of French history...it's the story of a woman who spurs men to do great deeds. They said about her that she was beautiful. Well, I can't imagine her any other way :D ...but also that although she often dressed with men around, they never had manly urges watching her, if you know what i mean...she was kinda holy...not like Milla to whom I could imagine doing a thing or two ;)

No, it was made a few years back...before Milla's Resident Evil films. But it's a good movie. At first I didn't really like the second part, when Milla struggles with her conscience (played by Dustin Hoffman), but now I get what the movie really wanted to show. Pllus the superb fight scenes, plus the sublime Milla...It's a movie worth seeing.
