The closer Dallas came to the massive spire, the more he could see of it in detail. There wasn’t much to it. A spiral staircase wound around the exterior of the tower, which seemed to be carved out of a single, impossibly large black crystal. He scoffed, pitying whomever was unfortunate enough not to know how to fly. As he drew nearer he thought he could see a light at the top. It wasn’t bright enough to be a beacon of any sort, but the teen figured that if anyone was up there he’d be able to ask them where in Kami’s name he’d landed instead of Nassau. Shortly after spotting the light, Dallas heard the frenzied beating of dozens of wings. In the dim light he felt more than saw the cloud of overgrown bats, all of which seemed agitated by his presence. He fought off the ones he could, but to completely fight them off he had to fire off some ki blasts. He grimaced as he did so, knowing that he had most likely just drawn the attention of anything and everything within earshot or eyeshot. Sure enough, other creatures came flying after him. He could only make out a flurry of claws and fangs and spikes as he fought his way towards the pinnacle of the spire. Dropping any hopes of remaining inconspicuous, the Konatsian teen lit up the dark sky with waves of ki blasts, using them both to illuminate the battlespace and to take down his assailants when they were out of reach. Eventually the last of the creatures hindering his progress dropped lifelessly into the inky depths below. Dallas touched down on the flat top of the tower, the light he had sought now nowhere to be found. The only object he saw was a dark violet orb nestled atop a cushioned pedestal. Drawn to the power emanating from the globe, the boy reached out and touched it. Images in freeze frame surged through his mind in an instant and he jerked his hand away, blinking profusely to clear his head. “What the hell was that...?” [353/ [Wayfinder used, -2 Days] |

[2000 EXP \\ 100 Zenni] Reward(s): Select one Quest on any planet other than Dark Star that does not have a Quest Battle. You receive the Reward from that Quest and are considered to have completed the Quest. Quest: Pop It, Lock It, and Drop Them Reward(s): You may create a custom Freestyle Signature technique. This Technique must be approved by an Administrator. Proposed Custom Knock, Knock [CUSTOM, PHYSICAL, WEAPON] Description: Dallas uses his weapon to target his opponent's pressure points, making them more susceptible to his attacks. Effect: Physical attack doing (90% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - Your physical attacks gain +1 to the results for each time you have STUNNED an opponent this match, to a maximum of 5. Costs 7 KI Points. Edited by Dallas, Apr 4 2014, 12:37 AM.

This is a real advantage pusher. If you did stun someone 5 times I'd say you've probably already pushed the advantage so hard you've already won. Single dice effect is strong with a relatively weak damage component. I'ma have to say on this ruling that there's to be a clause that states the +1 to results is from every stun prior due to the fact that with an increasing bonus to hit getting the stuns you want becomes much easier. I'm elated to see the potential of signatures for the weapon movesets, and simultaneously horrified. Knock, Knock [CUSTOM, SIGNATURE, PHYSICAL, WEAPON] Description: Dallas uses his weapon to target his opponent's pressure points, making them more susceptible to his attacks. Effect: RESTRICTED x1 Physical attack doing (90% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - Your physical attacks gain +1 to the results for each time you have STUNNED an opponent this match thus far, to a maximum of 5. Costs 7 KI Points. |

Knew I forgot something when I posted it (the RESTRICTEDx1 part). I can live with that, but would further stuns still add to the effect or would I just take whatever number of stuns I had at the time that I used the Signature Technique? |

At the time where it you use it seems most appropriate. I'm going to contact a wordsmith to clause the legal properties of your ability. |

Something like this maybe? Knock, Knock [CUSTOM, SIGNATURE, PHYSICAL, WEAPON] Description: Dallas uses his weapon to target his opponent's pressure points, making them more susceptible to his attacks. Effect: RESTRICTEDx1. Physical attack doing (90% Power) Damage. SUCCESSFUL - Your physical attacks gain +1 to the results for each time you have STUNNED an opponent this match thus far, to a maximum of 5. This bonus does not increase if additional STUNS are performed. Costs 7 KI Points. |
