Odin drifted from the witch doctor's home to a barren area in hell. Some faceless thugs greeted him from behind a rock. he was completely surrounded. "Up here." a voice shouted from atop a rock. A tall man wearing a ninja mask was sitting legs crossed on the rock.

"I heard you were here Odin."

"What's it to you."

"I got ten guys, you think you could take us?"

"No doubt, look I don't want to fight you right now."

"Too bad. "

The ninja did a somersault and landed in front of Odin.

"Get him boys, show him what happens when you enter talon territory."

Odin sent his aura into overdrive and shouted "ENOUGH!" the thugs' swords flew out of their hands from the intensity. They all stood still.

"Stay out of my way and I won't kill you."

He grabbed the one closest to him and blew his head out with ki. The crowd gasped. He stared another down and charged ki in his palm. He screamed in terror and fell backwards. The thugs started to run away. Their leader shouted.

"Hey, get back here you cowards!"

"Leave" Odin demanded.

"Fine, but you haven't seen the last of me Odin."

He disappeared into smoke.

Hell was boring, and treacherous. The only time he wasn't bored here was when he was fighting off constant bandit mobs. Maybe once a day he would run into one of these groups. At this point it was getting annoying. Like mosquitoes, it's not like they can hurt you, but they always make some speech about how they are the strongest. They can't even touch Odin. They can't even fathom that which lurks in hell and they think they are the strongest. Odin entered an abandoned village.

[Mosquitoes make speeches, you just can't understand them]

"Hey, what are you doing here? If you came to steal my stuff know I won't go down with out a fight."

"I don't want your things."

"Who are you?"

"I am, a wanderer."

"Oh, mysterious. The names Guldo."

"We should spar, you look strong."

"Why do you want to fight me."

"Comon' its boring down here in hell, i've been down here for over 500 years. I get a little bit stronger with everyone I spar. Hopefully, I can get strong enough to get out of here. I want to get back into open space, and live my dreams of being a space pirate captain."

Odin was tired of games, he came fast as lightning at Guldo in the hopes of ending it in one punch. He was, though, taken back when Guldo was unharmed and sitting on his shoulders.

"Too slow."

"Nice one, maybe you could teach me."

"If you can hit me, I'll teach you the trick."

Odin wrapped his wings around Guldo and threw him to the ground. then he sent a small shot of ki at Guldo. It was not enough to harm him, but made he made his point.

"Bang"

"Ah, you caught me. ha ha. That was fun. Now for the great trick. I am going to teach you how to stop time. Put two fingers to your forehead. Now channel some ki into your fingers like you are going to instant transmission. Good, now think of stopping your opponents attack. I am going to shoot a ki blast at you. Be ready to stop it."

A Ki blast released from Guldo's palm. Odin put his fingers to his forehead. Then time stopped he stepped to the side and the Ki blast regained motion, exploding a tree in the distance.

"Very good Wanderer."

"Thank you. Guldo. Now I must go, The Witch Doctor is expecting me."

Odin turned back to head to the mountain. The time to leave was near, with the war starting. the lines in the checkpoint would be flooded with the fallen. It was the perfect time for him to escape.
Odin made his way to the witch doctor’s home.
“Kor, we leave tomorrow alright. It will be the best time to escape, with the checkpoint congested and all.”
“Good news indeed.”
Odin left once more; he had the whole day to prepare himself for the journey. He had hoped things would turn out alright. It was a big risk taking somebody with him. If it came down to it though, he would have to break his promise. God forbid he had to return to this wretched place.
Odin walked through the desert, Hells three red hot suns beating down on him. He saw waves of heat glistening in the distance. It was too hot, he was so bored. He was thirsty; after all there wasn’t much water in hell, especially this part. His vision faded.
---- ------
A human man lies asleep in his bed. The winter chill fogs his breath.
“Odin, wake up scum. The boats are leaving in one hour; If you’re not there, I’m going to kill you.”
“Errr uhhh, fine im coming.”
Odin threw on a silver breastplate, he dawned a silver helmet, and strapped a sword to his side. He stood six feet tall with a long flowing beard. His muscles bulged as he ran to the dock at the end of the friejord. That being said, he was always considered the runt of his crew. The other men were all over seven feet and more fierce.
“Odin, there you are, get to rowin’”
Odin rubbed the sleep out of his eyes and took the oar.
Captain Ragnar stood at the helm of the longboat staring at a map. The map led to an island that held untold treasure. Ragnar and his crew weathered the treacherous seas and storms for three days before they caught sight of land. They cast anchor outside a foggy island. The center of the island held a mountain with a dragon carved into it. The Island was deserted, save the exotic game to be hunted there. The center of the mountain contained a shrine with a seven star dragon ball on it. There were six other empty spots. Ragnar spoke. “Take the gem and let’s get out of here.”
The crew spent the next six years tracking down the remaining Dragon balls until only one remained. This time, it came to them while they were searching a village. They weren't expecting anything like this to happen. It wasn’t like there were high powered beasties running around offing people. How were they supposed to have known? Anyway, the holder of the one star dragon ball was a giant muscular man with a tail. Ragnar decided to take the fight, as the strongest. The nameless humanoid spoke in a deep booming voice.
“You really saved me a lot of trouble finding these. Now, I’ll be taking what’s mine.”
“Not without a fight you won’t.” Ragnar proclaimed as he charged toward the bulky humanoid.
Ki, something rarely heard of if even harnessed at all. Nothing had ever used Ki at this level before. One by one the crew fell. Odin crawled away his back against the wall, holding the satchel of dragon balls.
“I won’t give them up, I won’t.”
The humanoid charged ki in his hands, “Any last words human?”
Odin was too scared to speak. Ki came bursting forth from the humanoid’s hand. It was at that moment Odin’s life changed forever. A tall green figure appeared in front of Odin and blasted the Humanoid in the heart with Ki. Then, in an instant, he was gone. The one star dragon ball had landed in his lap.
“Intervention!” an onlooker shouted.
Odin rowed for days, his clothes became tattered. He went delirious. He finally reached the dragon shrine, dehydrated and hungry. He placed the dragon balls in order upon the shrine. The dragon statue came to life.
“I will grant you one wish little one. Tell me, what does your heart desire?”
“Bring my captain and crew back to life.”
“So it shall be…. I’m sorry, I cannot grant that wish.”
“Why, you already said you could do it.”
“You were subject intervention, you cannot wish.”
The Dragon Balls went Grey and scattered across the earth. A pair of Mystical pants floated down in fron of Odin. “Why me?” he thought. He cried in the shrine for three days, and decided he was to join his brothers in death. He didn't ask to be saved; he didn't want to be saved. Odin gathered brush to use so he could cast off to sea and give himself a Viking’s burial. He looked at the pants. “Well, I might want these in the afterlife.” Odin put them on, His body began to swell. His senses increased, he grew stronger. He began to change into a dragon. Odin was reborn, he felt a voice call out to him.
“Odin, OOOOOODIIIIINNNNNN.”
He saw a place in his mind. Somehow he knew he could go there. He closed his eyes, “Asgard!” he shouted. So it was, he was transported to the first watch tower. He was greeted by a green man, the one who had saved him.
“Odin, we have been waiting for you.”
“Why did you intervene, you should have just let me die. I have nothing now.”
“Are you so sure child? You have the whole earth to watch over. ”
“What do you mean?”
“We have been watching you since you were a boy Odin. My watch here is almost over. I’m getting old Odin. Someone has to replace me. In all my years Odin, I have never seen a heart so pure.”
Odin was given a golden suit of armor and a giant claymore to suit his new form. He trained with the watcher and honed his skills. Odin was the strongest warrior of earth, always vigilant. Odin was a good ruler for almost a century, his people worshiped him. Not to mention, he saved the world from multiple disasters. Things were going well, but an unseen threat lurked in the shadows. Zeus longed for Odin’s seat as Watcher. He resented Ra for handing the seat over to a child. How was he so special that he was to rule? Zeus had one problem, how would he convince the people to shed their loyalty to Odin. That changed when Odin started making frequent trips to dark star. He was helping them; he was helping them and earth. Zeus spread lies when Odin was gone on these trips. He would tell the people Odin was corrupted. That’s when the mutiny happened. Zeus cast Odin out. He had no home on earth and fled to Dark Star. That’s when he snapped. His people, good people, would abandon him for a snake like Zeus? Odin used all his power to try and destroy anything he could; it didn't matter what it was, he was angry.
