Okay, this is probably going to fail before it can even get off the ground, but I've started this thread to try and organize some player tactics based on the recent Saga reveal. As you've (hopefully) noticed, each Saga Quest has a failure penalty. If we don't complete the quest by the end of the week, the penalty kicks in and the rest of the saga is going to be harder because of it. This is literally bad for everyone that plans on taking part in the saga. Looking over current player locations and such, I doubt we can complete every single quest that's been posted for two reasons: 1. Not everyone is going to bite the bullet and get the (comparatively) dinky rewards one some planets -- looking at you, Alpha Collective -- for the good of everyone else, and 2. Because some of these quests have rewards that everyone is going to want. That said, what we can do is prioritize and try to get people to sign up to take on certain quests, freeing up people for other quests. We should prioritize by the failure penalty, not by whatever goodie your character so desperately wants. So, I've compiled a list of the worst failure penalties that will screw over everyone if these quests are failed. We need good men and women and whatever-the-hell-Ametrine-is to make sure these quests get done so that we don't all suffer the consequences. NOTE: Every quest this week is repeatable. Just because one person signs up for the quest you want doesn't mean that you can't do it also. However, we have to make sure that each of these Priority quests get completed so we don't all get shafted with some of the (pretty awful) failure penalties. Edited by Glacier, Nov 24 2013, 11:14 PM.

I definitely love the coverage on this. From what I've heard from other players (as a player, not an admin), the ones that still may need coverage that you've set as Priority are: Guru Abduction The Green Room Effect Dark Star Standoff Agent 0007 (Unless Brosuke saves the Brosday yet again) Edit: This is assuming the party at Alpha Collective takes care of itself before (if ever) heading off to save our butts. |

I'll take care of Halloween this week. I'm a bit underpowered for Standoff, though. And if you come to Dark Star, make sure you've been there before! You're forced to do the Survival quest once you land, unless you've been there before, or are a Dark-jin.

I recognized how that would be a bit unfair to inconvenience everyone (only being able to save the planet if you've already done the quests and left), so I've already put in a clause that sets the Survival quest Requirement on pause until Week 4 when the invasion ends. Edit: I can do Dark Star Standoff if nobody is up for it, elsewise I'll be going for something else. |

Well I can almost promise that Gold and Ava would go back to Earth given their affiliations there and we could take care of the two quests there. See! I knew going to the Alpha Collective was a bad idea. Lol. |

Konos wasn't very high on the priority here but it is covered at least. Dario and I intended to do what ever quests that were coming our way. We burned our IT the last week so we don't really have a choice but to defend it. |

Well at least we finally get to see Fusion. I'll mark Konos as covered. |

I'm doing the Wayfinder quest to cut down the days for Halloween. I'll hold on to my 4 other days to see if anyone makes it for Standoff. If nobody shows up for it by Friday, I'll give it my best. But like I said, I'm slightly underpowered and I don't have my TF; so no promises that I'll beat the guy.

Reckon I could take him. If one of the other 50 people on Alpha Collective would be gracious enough to murder that Majin's face off I could head over and murder the Dark Star dude's face off. |

Reviving this week and taking on the Boss on V'anitii. I think Dark star is fucked, and I worry for Earth. |
