VOID walked for who knows how long; the downside of using his sonar program was that he would be able to fly. He needed the vibrations that his footsteps made in order to see where he was going... Not that he knew where he was going to begin with. Without his GPS, he was pretty much walking until he found civilization and seeing if his target was in said civilization. His target this time was a Human male by the name of Dimitri Pollack; wanted for the murder of eleven big names in the business sector of West City. He was renowned for his prowess in the office and a former martial arts champion outside of work. He had taken a hit in his investments and when the board of executives told him he was no longer in their employ, the criminal took it upon himself to do a little spring cleaning and took all of them out with his bare hands. This guy is fairly dangerous and incredibly unstable if he sought refuge in this kind of planet. VOID was sure he could take this guy down handily; he was a martial arts champion, but he never had to face VOID in a fight before; that's fight, not a match. There is a huge difference, and poor Dimitri was going to find that out the hard way once the android had found him. It was only a matter of putting one foot in front of the other. The suddenly stopped after his last step revealed a building. Not ancient ruins like he had come across before, a large scale building with huge thirty foot walls surrounding the property. VOID approached the building cautiously; he wasn't sure who exactly would be in this structure, but if they built walls like this, they probably weren't rolling out the welcome wagon to every stranger that stumbled upon their home out of the darkness. His caution was well placed. Before he could fall back, he was surrounded by half a dozen fighters and the android quickly took a defensive stance and assessed his enemy. Some looked like trained fighters while others by the looks of their stances were not trained, but just as dangerous, if not more dangerous; brawlers. One of the brawlers stepped in with a Haymaker and VOID stepped in and leaned back; as the fist flew by his face, VOID grabbed his arm, slid his foot behind his opponents and took him to the ground wrapping his arm around his neck. The other fighters were surprised and took a step back. "Whoa there! At ease men!" a voice came from behind where the brawler had come from. A man emerged from the darkness; he was wearing a military uniform that was worn out and had several burn marks all over it; "I'm sorry to have to ask this of you, but could you Let Bruno go, stranger. He's one of my better men, and you have to take what you can get in this kind of environment." VOID looked at the commander and after a moment of wondering if he should let him go, he released Bruno's arm and the brawler gasped for breath as he climbed back up to his feet. He turned back to face VOID and went in for a punch. "ENOUGH BRUCE!" The brawler stopped in his tracks and put his fist down and went back to his spot in the circle; "Terribly sorry. I'm not sure if you're acquainted with prisoners, but they get hot around the collar rather easily. What's more, they hardly ever recognize when they've lost. Bravo Team, you are dismissed have them open the gate and welcome our visitor." The group of fighters disappeared into the darkness, and VOID could hear a rumbling. The commander motioned for the android to follow him, so he did so and followed him through a door. Once through the door, he no longer needed his sonar program, there were bright lights lighting up a courtyard and several hundred feet from the fence was a large stone structure with bars covering the windows; a prison; VOID had found himself in a prison. What was strange about it all was that the guards and the prisoners were all standing in groups intermingling and joking with each other like they were the best of friends. "Confusing, I know. But budget cuts left our supply line short, and we had to shut down operations for our prison months ago. We released the prisoners to help us fend off the monsters of this planet. They were quick to agree as they knew they wouldn't last long out there by themselves." However, before the commander could continue his presentation on their cohabitation, a ruckus had broken out by the side entrance to the prison. He ran to the crowd and VOID followed. "Okay, what's going on here!?" "It's Porter, sir, he was found dead in the pantry. We suspect it was one of the prisoners." "Fuck you, pig! Why does it have to be one of us!?" The crowd began to push and shove between prisoners and guards VOID looked up at one of the windows and he saw Dimitri Pollack himself smiling down at the crowd and chuckling to himself. VOID then understood what was going on. Dimitri had joined this society and had wanted to start a little chaos. VOID stepped between the two factions and silenced them. "It's okay, I know who did it, and it just so happens to be the man I came looking for in the first place, I'll take care of it now. So, go back to your posts."
