VOID approached the chest very carefully. He didn't want any more fifty foot Dark-jin's to show up and attack the android when he wasn't in any real condition to fight. His sudden burst of energy had closed down, and he was back on default control. For a second, he felt like the fastest being in the galaxy; now he only feels the pain of being crushed by a claw the size of a small house. He leaned against the wall to catch his breath when the ground began to rumble. The android braced himself and took a defensive stance, fearing for the worst. But it was only just an aftershock. VOID knelt down in front of the treasure box. The treasure of the Dark-jin; he wondered what it could be. He opened the chest and was suddenly blinded. The entire cavern was lit up like it was a valley on Earth. The android couldn't take the light and quickly shut the box again. He looked around and once his eyes had adjusted again, he activated his shades and opened it again. after the initial blinding light, his shades allowed him to peer into the box and see past the light. An amazing pearl was giving off the glow. It was about the size of a watermelon and when he reached to touch it to see if it was real, it gave of a shock of electricity. Immediately, VOID's damage had been healed and his energy restored. He knew why this treasure was so well guarded; it had healing capabilities beyond that of even a Senzu bean. This would sell for quite a lot if the right person were to put it on the market. That's why VOID had to steal the treasure. He tied a rope around the chest on both ends and threw it over his shoulders like a backpack. He had to take the treasure somewhere where only he knew about. He remembered the ruins he walked through when he had first arrived and how the Dark-jins don't like to go in there, and took off for that location. He met little resistance from Dark-jin's along the way. Now that his energy was restored, he was able to handily defeat anything that came after him. With the little amount of enemies coming after him, the android assumed that that they didn't know that VOID had taken the treasure. He was sure that the local monsters had assumed that nobody would have been that crazy to take on the beast that protected their treasure. Had VOID been in control, he wouldn't have been; that's where the Dark-jin didn't plan well enough. The android didn't appreciate being used like that, but he had hoped that whoever was controlling him knew what treasure he was fighting to recover and could use the pearl to heal himself after the fight was over. Plus, he had tapped into the unknown file and released even more power and energy into himself, so he had that to help him get over the feeling of being a useless pawn. He wasn't sure what his purpose will be, but he knows that HAZMAT can not be a good thing. The android had finally reached the ruins and saw no signs of the Konatian in the robes. He hid the chest under a pile of rocks and left a tracker so he could come back and find it once he had a way off of this planet. He did another sweep of the area and continued on toward Sector 10 one last time to get leads on a way out of Dark Star. [605 words] Edited by Void, Nov 30 2013, 06:07 PM.
