Falling into the depths of the infernal pit once again, the broken Ametrine tumbled like a fallen dove. Minutes fell he into the abyss till the crumbled red soil grew beneath him. Vaulting across, the figure exerted his ki like a jet towards the hazy heights of the realm. It was likely that his failure has already come to the ears of Dabura, who had only sent him off an hour ago. The Demon Lord could have very well been waiting with a fiery anticipation near the Well of Souls where he sent off Ametrine still. Hell, being the domain of Dabura, was not a safe place to be while the sin of failure wafted so heavily around him. It was time to find a way out , on his own. While trying to penetrate the yellow clouds Ametrine could find his own energy being drained from the place. His soul felt fractured as his essence drained out towards the Well of Souls. The very nature of the place kept in him check and just as he thought to have reached apex of his projected escape route- he arced back down towards the soil. No ki, no energy, no flight, Ametrine came down like a meteor. Today had been a fine day to search for a new consort, the Snake Princess had clapped her hands together ushering her servants to prepare the carriage faster. Ruffling her panda fur trim on her luxurious new coat, brought to her by some rascal in the Alpha Collective, she thought about which of servants deserved the honor of leaving the manor with her. There was no way she would travel off too far without some helping hands, or bodyguards. Linn had proved to be very useful with her scimitars, however she proved to be far too brash with people who were not her ward. Pram was in every regard, the most elegant and proper lady of the estate- only second to the princess herself. If she could only open her mouth to speak once in a while, visitors wouldn't be so convinced that she was an automaton. Linn sat at the head of the carriage, carrying the reigns of the the noble lizards that pulled it across the sky. Pram stayed opposite from Princess Snake, her posture a memento of etiquette from a finer age long past. The serpentine movement of the great beasts did not betray the elegance of the vehicle- as they departed from the manor the grand beasts slithered into the sickly yellow mist. The top of the wagon was a pearly descending into the mists as the carriage slid gracefully into Hell, nowhere to be seen- the manor dissolving into the blackened stone of Snake's Way. A feather made its wide descent upon the plane of Hell. It's occupants, grand as they were made healthy reminders to themselves of the danger of the realm. Princess Snake was brimming with a excitement her regal dignity confined to the realm of her own mind. Pram moved her vision to gaze upon her master whose eyes betrayed her refined sense of anticipation. Her eager eyes craved the attention of courtship once again. The shuttle touched down upon the mossy floor of the Gardens of Persephone, the boughs of it's strange and alien trees glistened in the light of the carriage coming to a complete halt. A noble stench filled the air, like a royal Vanitian perfume, an appreciation for the smell could only be acquired by the most noble souls in Hell. Sickeningly sweet, the smell of flowering trees and rotting fruit mingled together in the open air on the breeze which blew through the confused field, eternally stuck between life and death, Spring and Fall, the beginning and the end. Fallen leaves, like little hands fled from the wind for fear of certain destruction revealing a lithe blue body with long green hair out from beneath his temporary bedding. Linn rolled out a long mat made of the finest crimson cloth beneath her master's door to the carriage as Pram blossomed out, it's petal like doors. Holding the door open and rolling out the steps without making eye contact her poise was perfect as Princess Snake daintily sauntered down the rungs of the ladder as if she herself was made of a light down. She turned her eyes and then her delicate neck over to the image she had longed to see ever since his visitation prior, all which seemed to be so very, very, long ago. "Dearest Ametrine, it is funny how we end up meeting like this.”, the Snake Princess addressed Ametrine in a sultry, familiar tone. Pram's blue face blushed at the gesture, clearly etiquette could be breached for a moment such as this. Strutting over to him, she knelt down for a moment, her knee touching the glade's floor for but a second to lift her lithe love off of the ground. Coming to his senses, Ametrine's face went from that of horror to pleasure as his amorous smirk dispelled the blemishes soil and defeat had done to his ego. “What a pleasure it is to see you once again Princess Snake”, his face reached to her hand to kiss it, “...And so far away from your King Yema, might I add?”. “I have always found him to be a bit too... uptight for my liking. Hundreds of years have passed since our false marriage and his subsequent leaving. Never have I met a man with such a high aversion to me devouring strangers.”, Princess Snake turned her hand from Ametrine's mouth and assumed a stance. Pram and Linn made quick work assembling the dance floor, the decorations, the instruments, and of course the packed lunch. Ametrine's eyes were far too preoccupied with his current conversation to notice the entire glade had been turned into a picnic any Vanitian would be proud of. “A lady like you should have anything she well please”, his right hand matched hers and he lithely laid his arm around the back of her waist, his hand caressed her hip gently. A lively waltz was plaid from Linn and Pram's instruments as they had waited precisely for the right time to aid their Lady's courtship ritual. Moving in a perfect box gait, the two danced and played out their romance once again. The stranger who had intercepted her on her trip to Yema's Checkout had been found once more. As the music concluded the both had taken pause, arms frozen in the blowing breeze. “What brings you here? Looking for a dinner and date tonight my lady?”, the Vanitian teased his blue lady. “A sort. And what exactly brings you here? I thought you were to leave hours ago to avenge 'you know who's' name out on the glorious field of battle?”, her blue face glowing to find the ghost still here. “Plans had changed.”, taking her lips in hers, there were more pressing matters to attend to, “High Queen Barra would be ill fit to match your beauty my sweet. Nothing in the mortal realm could possibly parallel yours.” Releasing a sumptuous giggle her prize doubled over Princess Snake. She motioned at her consorts, her forked tongue tonsils deep in Vanitian. Her cohorts made fast pace once again placing together pieces from the seemingly endless storage of the carriage. Chairs were formed and shortly thereafter other furniture, table, bed, partisan walls, the entire glade was stage to their romantic outing. Slobbering and silent protest was cast aside as a large bellow came from the edge of the garden. Leaning back from Princess Snake, Ametrine had nearly dropped her. Directing his sight towards the sound of the interference he saw a bright yellow star hurtling towards the couple screaming as both the air around it and the air of his lungs tore through Hell. “Who the bloody, godless Hell is this guy?!”, screamed the man, who had finally stood still no more than five meters from the two, “Princess I saw you come down from the Heavens for me, but the damned Ginyu Squad got in the way again. Who is this oaf?!”. When the image stilled, it appeared to be a Saiyin of tall stature with long flowing spiky locks down well past his knees. His armor was the pinnacle of savagery, a large hole was bored through the center as if by a giant drill. Armored plates adorned a kilt which was of a earthen brown color, which brightened the deep black plates that hewed the whole thing together. A large monkey tail wrapped around his body almost like a belt, the red bands around his leg and arm did no service to his lack of fashion, poise or any remnant of civility he might have had left. “Now, now Raditz.”, Princess Snake released herself from Ametrine's grip, “Do not think irrationally on this. I did not come necessarily for -you-.”. The snake's loose tongue did no service to Ametrine this time, the enraged Saiyin's aura crackled with wrath. “Listen to me now Vanitian, I do not know who you are; know this woman is mine I will skin you alive if you touch her one more time.”, Raditz's aura flared out of control, his hair rose into the air on end as it almost seemed to be turning a golden hue. “This female has been my lover for centuries and has warmed my cave long before you arrived- leave!”, assuming an offensive stance, the art of Akaikaru no doubt- words seemed to be lost upon Raditz. Ametrine eyed the Saiyin carefully, his power seemed to dwarf his own by comparison. “How about we compete for her hand? I am Ametrine, Lord of the Many in the Jewel. Her choice of companion should be her own. Let us have her decide.”, he motioned towards the light-headed princess. “Well since you are both strong and certainly... capable men this will be decided by combat.”, retrieving a handkerchief from her purse she dangled it into the air, “Since you are years apart in training I declare by my powers as Snake Goddess that this be fought upon equal terms!”. The land mutated and shifted by her words of power, the very nature of Hell formed an arena in the garden lost by time. Laughing the two men paced equal distances from each other, a fine combat to be had. “The winner will be rewarded whatever his heart desires of me and the loser.”, Princess Snake had lounged in a throne high upon an unworldly tree, Pram and Linn were close by fanning her swooning form, “May the battle begin!”. The handkerchief fell down to Hell like a fallen dove. [1804/1700 words] |

Ametrine's spiky aura receded as he threw one last spike of ki into Raditz, impaling him through a tree by the length of his armor. Bleeding out the match was decided in Ametrine's favor- as the Saiyin could no longer move. "Well played there sir, you fought valiantly just as tales of your kind had spread.", he offered a hand up to the defeated duelist. "You are strong, Vanitian...no...Ametrine, was it?" Raditz said accepting his hand, "It is just a damn shame I won't be seeing her again. I was just so attached.". Ametrine gazed upon the Saiyin befuddled, "Won't be seeing her again? Why is that?", he extracted a Painebreaker Javelin meticulously from the Saiyin's shoulder. "We ought to have these ladies patch you up.". "You won. You can have your wish to have me never oppose you for her again. Is that not what you want?", Raditz had become increasingly aggitated, "And why are you patching me up? What is your motivations behind all of this?". Lifting him from the arena's tree he welcomed Raditz with a wanton smile, "My Princess Snake, I have already decided what I wanted as my reward.". "State your desires of your heart to me, my love, and to Raditz. This dispute was breathtaking to say the very least, but closure must arrive.", the Princess Snake was fanning herself off as the heat coming off of the two armor clad muscleboats could melt planets. "I desire your pardon from Hell, for one night at your manor. That is all I could ever want at this moment from you.", her hand was kissed gently to seal the deal and confirm the offer to his lover. "And as for Raditz...", turning to face him, Raditz's face twinged expectantly, "I wish for you to join us as well.". A long silence existed throughout time and space for the three of them. Raditz's face flared up with a red stain of embarrassment. "Very well my love.", Princess Snake's heart was light as a feather as she ushered her servants, "Now, now, Linn-- PRAM, stop bleeding everywhere. Let's get ready to bring these two gentlemen with us home.". Standing there silent Raditz thought he had died again. What exactly did this twisted evil being had in store for him? Contemplating the evils of Hell, so that he might have an idea of what tonight's activities may bring he sat quietly staring at the servants from behind as they deconstructed the arena and all of the furniture. In the audience of the arena stood Alistor, and nearby a Saiyin; Sykes. "Interesting, how could they be here yet?", Ametrine approached them and engaged them in casual afterlife banter. ----------- The next day Raditz woke up a new man. He had his yearly conjugal visit from the Snake Princess, but had acquired so much, much more. The wine, the song, the carnal entertainment a single Vanitian was capable of appreciating was simply astounding and he had never imagined the amount of war stories one of the dainty creatures could recall. As the haze of wine and incense had consumed them, he had not thought about how the lithe Vanitian fingers had easily complimented his lover's kind administrations. Raditz had heard of stories in the barracks back on Vegeta of warriors performing in such pursuits but never once in his life- his afterlife did he think it could ever come to this. Turning away from the nude Princess Snake, the sheets ruffled as he went to check up on Ametrine and his delicate supples. Peering to his right his hands had fallen upon the empty section of bed where he once laid. "No!", screamed Raditz waking the Snake Princess meters off of where she laid, "Where did he go!?". He checked to see where they had discarded their clothing- surely a sign that he did leave. To his dismay Raditz found naught but Princess Snake's dress lying on the floor, discarded- his armor nowhere to be found. Doubled over on the ground the bare Saiyin's form cringed in to endure the brunt force of loss, "CURSE YOU AMETRINE!". He had taken his woman, he had taken his armor, but worst of all Ametrine had stole his heart. Edited by Ametrine Prime, Jan 5 2014, 04:26 AM.
