Timeflow:
Time is different in the Regalia, compared to our Earth. 24 hours? 365 days? I don't think so.

The timeflow in Regalia has a way different movement, it's unique and most likely found nowhere else!
One day is ... 40 Hours
One week is ... 5 Days
One month is ... 5 Weeks
One year is ... 20 Months

That means a year holds 500 days of 40 Hours in the Regalia! It will be strange to get used to for anyone born inside, but you'll get the hang of it..

Months: January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December, Centa, Dantu, Lumic, Zephten, Denri, Dactumic, Hentrin, Dencay

Death:
"You cannot elude your destiny... Every creature will die one day" - The Ancients

Ofcourse character and NPC deaths are possible on this forum, else every character could be considered immortal. Death by age is a common factor in the Regalia. 20 is considered the average lifetime, the highest age of any human every was around 50. The war spreads death and chaos, hence a long life mostly isn't available...

Deaths:
  • Death by age (A global mod or admin may plant a date or age on your character that can be considered doomsday)
  • Combat Death: If a fight occurs and both parties (you and the opponent) agree with the death, your character can die. You can also have both parties prevent a death, though.
  • Checkmate: If you are checkmated, meaning the only option left is death or godmoding, you will die.
  • Dragon Meal: If you're too cocky and challenge a dragon, you will not survive, that's a fact.
  • Duty Death: If you take a mission that you shouldn't be able to handle, you'll most likely die unless you play it smart without godmoding. Missions mainly have a target or 'adviced' stats amount on them to make sure you know what you start.
  • Curbstomped: If you are caught godmoding or metagaming on multiple occassions (After a warning of an admin or moderator), your character will be executed for good. You might also get a ban if you continue godmoding or metagaming after this event occurs.
  • Griefing: If you kill without permission, and this practically counting as god-moding too, you will be instantly killed, and the opponent that was griefed against will gain the rewards of the griefer and him/herself. (Person A griefs, person A gets executed, person B gets rewards of person A and B.)

Death's Profit: Ofcourse, a character death's never any fun to go through. You can take the earned RP, Drachma and weapons over to a new character! Basically a harvest.
But, this harvest does not count towards your monthly harvest.

This bonus does NOT apply to: Griefing, Curbstomped, Dragon Meal. Because: Griefing is godmoding, and godmoding is forbidden. Same for curbstomped. Dragon Meal is making your own demise, hence you won't get anything due to your sheer stupidity, so to say.
