Finally got my hands on my new 308. Shot it with reg. Bullets and wasn’t that loud. Waiting to get my hands on some subsonic to see the difference.

From the looks of it, it is either a night vision or thermal scope. Excellent!!

It's more than likely a scope that has the auto BDC deal where it will adjust the brightness/selection of reticle and then use the trigonometry and geometry within itself to accurately range and move the reticle based upon angle/range to eliminate holdovers etc.

Neg. GooseIsland was correct: day/night vision scope

Is that a new Savage? I'm asking due to the location and type of safety, plus the trigger appears to be an accu-trigger.

Rt, the accutrigger threw me off too. It’s your American made Ruger. With a silencer at one end, and an ATN day/night vision scope on the other.

My brother bought a Ruger American chambered for .308 about a year ago and it's been a real fine little rifle. He's not crazy about it because of the LOP; but it's perfect for my short, fat ass. (He doesn't like my T/C Encore .308 for the same reason.)

Just quoting you, are you going to afford bringing your short fat ass down this year? e522671
I’ll be moving the shop to the big building. I could use the extra hand and maybe you could shoot a Fl deer.

I'd love to, but between my bum knee and three doctor's appointments I'm afraid I'll be unable to make it. Maybe one of these days I'll get this knee replaced and finish up with all of the other crap and then be able to come take advantage of your generosity.
