https://www.msn.com/en-us/weather/topstories/massive-and-toxic-algae-bloom-threatens-florida-coasts-with-another-lost-summer/ar-AAznPiM?ocid=spartanntp The Asian carp would solve that problem . You lose your game fish , but get rid of the algae bloom . Don't see one off the Miss. Coast anymore .

Yeah, introduce another invasive species in order to mitigate a problem created due to a previously introduced one...............that's always a great alternative. |

They need crap? Well, I'll tell ya, we have plenty of crap around here. Wife and I moved to the lake 9 months ago to retire and relax. Soon after moving here, we thought adopting two rescue cats would help keep rodents and snakes away from the house (they do). Came to find out our lake neighbor has been feeding feral cats for years. At least one of his adopted us and yep, you don't have to guess what we have now. Dozens of damn cats everywhere and they are running out of dirt to cover their crap! Looking back now, I could have killed rodents and snakes without feline bad. |

Arkansas DNR put the Asian carp into U.S. waters . They did not think they would reproduce . Just dumped them into drainage ditches . What they do , do , is filter all the pollutants and poison out of the water . They do have big die offs when they are doing crop dusting in the area we lived in . The plankton that feeds the algae is eaten by the carp , wipes out everything , game fish go first , it seams that Buffalo and Catfish can survive , at least longer . |
