All the ponds around here are empty, most of the farms are using the time to dig them a little deeper or inlarging the size. making good of a bad situation. Then planning on restocking.

Im east of Wichita by about 50 miles.

First day of a new year snow on the ground 24° wind 10mph SE
went out with my husband, I shot it with 30/30 about 70yds, tracked it up and down the cullies about 100yds.

learned alot, seen alot, did a lot-
started in september first of bow hunting, every week out learning more never seen the same senerio twice,
finished with the extended season with rifle barrowed from my father in law, hunted private land that I met through my father and my husband help me learn to field dress and drag my deer 500 yds so the truck would not get stuck. Just want to say thanks to my hunting team for all the effort and support for my first season, cant wait to do it all over again!!!
already started a list of things to work on for next season ....

The weather has been beautiful! Been getting out tracking the walk in area around my area to find some turkey hunting spots for spring shoot... in mean time restringing the fishing poles and catching up on diy projects... enjoy the upcoming weekend!
