Aviana of October Hill Farm Westphalian, Wurttemberger Questions Answered Do I have to be the breeder of the horse I compete with? • No! You don't even necessarily have to be the owner if the horse's owner is willing to lease the horse to you for the duration of the contest. How many horses can I enter? • Each Participant may submit up to three (3) horses to be graded in the competition. Can I hire a trainer for my horse? • Of course! We understand that some people aren't great at training - this event is to showcase the rare warmbloods, not solely the training abilities because breeding is a huge part of the success of a horse as well! Are there horses available to buy/lease just for this contest? • Sponsors who wish to offer horses for sale or lease may send us a message with a list of the available foals or pairing eligible for the event. Contact information for the breeders and the breeds they have available will then be listed under the Sponsors and their Awards sections. Can I enter my horses in non 3DE points events? • Yes! But do remember that the amount of points earned in 3DE is a significant part of the scoring criteria. Why are you announcing this contest so early? • We wanted to give members the opportunities to make sure they have time to gain access to whatever stock they need in order to compete, this gives time for imports to grow as well as time to allow for active breeders to plan accordingly with things like incoming futurity stock and breeding plans. This will also give more people the opportunities to learn about the breeds and pick the breeds right for them, and allow the prize pool to increase and sponsors to jump on board and help offer incentives for their breed(s) of choice! Owner/New Breeder: Hello ! I'm the current Organizer of the Rare Breeders Cooperative; a group of breeders trying to bring attention to the Critically Endangered Breeds here on E-R. You can find information about the Rare Breed Coop Here: http://advanced.equine-ranch.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=12643 Or Here: http://rarebreed-er.weebly.com A few of us breeders who focus on Warmbloods are hosting a large event and wanted to make sure that all of the owners of eligible breeds were made aware of the event, there will be Prizes including ERD, Gift Cards and more. Your foals will be old enough to breed to birth a foal to participate in the event, and there are many others who are doing custom broods or breeding on request for specific breeds (including a few Trakehner breeders) so it's a great way to meet some of the other breeders/owners and bring new lines into your own breeding program! There are also some people who are going to be doing training for the event. If you have any questions, please send me a message or check the information on this thread here: http://advanced.equine-ranch.com/mybb/showthread.php?tid=12784 Hope to hear from you soon! - Alex Edited by Alex Echo, Apr 14 2015, 02:15 PM.

For Breeders: Hello ! I'm the current Organizer of the Rare Breeders Cooperative; a group of breeders trying to bring attention to the Critically Endangered Breeds here on E-R. We are also looking for owner/breeders who are willing to sponsor their breed(s) of choice in breed-specific prizes, anything from ERD to custom broods and frozen semen straws. If you're interested, please let me know! Whether it's to be a participant or a sponsor (or both!)!
