Welcome to Eclipse RPG. We hope you enjoy your visit. Here are the rules since people don't seem to read them.

- You must make an introductory post within 24 hours of making an account. If you do not, you will be assumed to be a troll, bot, etc. and will be deleted from the forums. You make this introductory post in this section. Just introduce yourself and such so we get an idea of who you are, you must leave your Steam account page link in the post as well if you did not contact either myself or Krit on Steam.

- Steam is required, there is absolutely no getting around this, you don't have to own Jedi Academy on Steam though, you must speak to either myself or Krit on Steam if you are new.

- Plagiarism isn't tolerated, this rule is implied everywhere, but apparently it needs to be stated on this forum.

- No flaming or trolling

- Keep the OOC (Out of character/conversation) chat to a minimum in game

- You MUST make a biography for you character unless they are EXTREMELY minor, example.
Note: Failure to do so will mean your character will die in situations that demand a character to die

- Please post a topic in advance if you know you will be gone

- For the sake of diversity, PLEASE limit Jedi and Sith characters, do not make any unless they are a non near-human alien species as we tend to lack them for Jedi and Sith. Make non-Jedi preferably since we tend to be lacking with them

- The Waiting Rule: If someone says they are coming onto the server and don't come on for five minutes, you begin. Sometimes people may go afk to get a snack or something and then get back to come on server

- No Self Role-playing, as in you can't go on a long series of things happening with only your characters, get involved with everyone else

- You must state that you are leaving server before quitting, do not simply just leave the server with no reason given, that is extremely rude and ends up completely confusing anyone who is in the server expecting you to continue to RP. This is only fine when we are ending the part of the RP we were on

- Do not make blatant rip off characters or factions, names may be inspired by a character in something else if the character itself is different from original character.

- R-Rated content on the server or in biographies is allowed, don't be absurd with it unless people agree to let it happen, keep sexual, overly violent content on the site outside of biographies to a minimum

- Relationships, be it romance or master-apprentice are fine, clear it with the other person first. Homosexual relationships are allowed, though I'd advise against a male homosexual relationship as nobody in the community has interest in pursuing that. A male can be homosexual or bisexual though, just don't be obnoxious. Romance relationships cannot just be about the sex or be absurd.

- Due to the experiences with this in various role plays that have occurred, there is to be no revival of any characters that are slain.

- Animal character biographies are no longer allowed to be made nor are droid biographies as both types have been universally the most useless characters.
