Welcome to The Eleventh Hour.

Although it is doubtful that you are not already aware, TEH is a SWBF2 team. People can join our team by invitation only. You can, however, still join the forums as a visitor, allowing you to post on the forums.

Since most of the team are based elsewhere, the forums may not be all that active. It will primarily serve as a focal point for the team on SWBF2. I will try to be around on the cbox whenever possible if anybody wants to contact me.

I guess that is all. See you on the forums/battlefront,

Well, hopefully we'll be playing quite seriously. I don't want to go into "deep" tactics just yet or anything, but perhaps a topic with some suggestions for general gameplay? It's been a while since we played CMs, some more than others, so maybe it'll help.

I vote we change the title of this forum section, the word affairs cuts me like a knife.

I do not agree.

ON TOPIC: I think if we could keep Alux away from the health and ammo droids we'd do ok. SMIRK.

Surely you want me next to health and ammo droids? Thats where I do my best gaming.

I also reported your post, how'd you like them apples?

I noticed that RoR were getting cps back very quickly in Kamino. I think, in conquest matches, the best thing to do if the match is very close is to make their cps white, but don't bother capturing them, especially if we have droideka or dark trooper. If we manage to keep our cps, but leave theirs white, then they won't have anywhere to spawn. We can capture the white ones later, but it's good to get them trapped.
What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof.

Yes, merely neutralising CPs is a good thing. Actually did that when they had few CPs left.

Don't forget to stay at a CP after you've stolen it, to make it fully yours. It can be quite annoying when your enemies only have to stand at your CP for a second or two to make it neutral.

The problem with neutralizing cp's comes if you move along and get killed - then you've left a free cp for them and you spawn miles away.

I never actually knew this... I always assumed you'd get a quick CP capture if it had been attacked already. Looks like I'll be properly capturing certain CPs from now on.

You're right with that problem Uffe, unless you had it such that the 1st person passing CP neutralises, 2nd person captures. Neutralising is mostly best when they have scattered CPs so you can quickly get to their final spawn.

Once you catch them, there's a noise that you'll hear coming from the CP for a little while. Once that noise is gone then you know you've fully captured it.

Sorta :P I'd describe it as more of a humming sound.
