The number of tickets sold at this year's U.S. Figure Skating Championships completely destroyed the old record. http://www.kndo.com/Global/story.asp?S=6017907 A lot of people over the past few months have been saying that figure skating has been drastically decreasing in popularity. I also remember one writer who said that Nationals was going to be "dull".

that's awesome!! Figure skating dull? I don't think so. I thought Nationals was awesome this year. We had almost all new Champions except for the dance where Belbin and Agosto won which really wasn't a surprise. But the ladies with Kimmie, Emily, and Alissa and Evan bringing the house down. Ryan Bradley skating an amazing program to get the Silver! Nationals was awesome! |
