Anime?

 While we're at this, we might as well make this thread a general discussion for anime for a little bit if anyone else is interested. I haven't been heavily exposed to a lot of anime myself, but I'm really starting to get into a lot of that style now that I have more opportunities to.

So I just got done watching Neon Genesis Evangelion last night and I'm just about done with Soul Eater, so I'm in the market for some new stories to add to my line up. Any suggestions?

 Is Cowboy Behop really that good? I watch one episode but then I was like "MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" and never watched it again

It was a really slow show to watch. Pretty much the main reason I liked it is for the last two episodes where it basically goes into a philosophical/psychological statement that sounds like it came directly from my own mind lol. Otherwise, it seemed kind of bland to me. Then again, it almost seemed as if all the character development was meant to draw you into relating to the characters so the writer could make his statement and hit the viewer directly, like the show wasn't even about the show.

And I really liked Cowboy Bebop, I've heard people hate on it before. So prolly just what you're tastes be.

 Well i'm watching Naruto Shippuden and the show is good if you can ignore the fillers and the cheesy backstory. In fact, I swear...almost every character was born or lived without a father or a mother or have some sort of revenge plot<_<
