This kid got suspended from his school because he's trying to grow it out to donate it to Locks of Love. He recently beat cancer and would like to give something back.

School's rules on hair:
Quote:

The school's student handbook requires that boys' hair be, "clean, neat, free of unnatural or distracting colors, off the collar, off the ears and out of the eyes."

I get that this is a private school but DA HELL? Does any other private school have this shit going down?

A lot of schools have restrictions on appearance. This actually isn't that unusual. A lot of jobs out there also don't allow long hair either.

yeah that's a job tho... it's a school... hair shouldn't matter. I just think it's a stupid reason to suspend someone

This is coming from a long haired man, yes I agree that it is an absolutely stupid reason to get suspended but I am just saying that it is fairly common.

This just makes me sick, seriously. They should bend the school rules for someone who wants to help others in need. Its pathetic how the world is sometimes.

As much as parents pay to take their kids to private schools, you would've thought some kind of arrangements could've been made.
