Shikona has the personality of a laid back genius, With his love for the world of science and progress, He would rather stop his opponent rather then kill his opponent off, to test his new "Experiments". Another trait of his personality is his hatred for people who believe they are perfect, His belief is that nothing in the world is perfect, nor will it ever become to the full view of perfect.
The History of Shikona Arudema
Shikona Arudema's history is rather simple for someone of science, He started off as most of the other Soul Reapers do, He went to the academy, but got one of the lowest scores in the academy due to the fact of his laid back personality, After his graduation from the academy he went to serve in squad 12 but unfortunately since his grades were so low, He was not accepted at first, He then went on to prove to the Captain of Squad 12 that he is the right man for the squad by displaying his genius side.
Once in squad 12 Shikona developed his skills and kept moving up in the ranks until he got to lieutenant, After getting to the rank of lieutenant he got to the point of achieving bankai. Shortly after getting to the level of a Captain, Shikona did an experiment with his Captain which backfired, Almost killing off the captain. With this the Captain gave Shikona permission to start to perform experiments on him, Which he also got approval from the Head Captain, Two years later the Captain died off after undertaking a high dose of one of the experiments, Which the Head Captain then appointed Shikona the Captain of Squad 12.
Shikona being the Captain of Squad 12 is now doing more experiments on the way to "Clone" his Division, So that he may be able to freely perform experiments on a wide range of different individuals.
Shikai - 【見本】 - Hinagata The Shikai takes the form of a sickle-sword, which is a sword with a hilt where the blade starts off straight then curves. The hilt of the sword contains a removable blood sampling vial, which will fill up once the blade cuts an opponent and absorbs the blood into the vial, The sickle-sword also has the ability to paralyze an opponent on the area where the sword cuts (Legs, arms or even head) until the opponent is fully paralyzed.
Bankai - 【解凍】 - Meruto The Bankai takes the form of an amorphous blob that started off the size of a cardboard box. It appears to be a shapeless semi-solid, semi-liquid being that can devour an opponent by surrounding his opponent and digesting it with corrosive liquids it produces by itself. With every opponent it devours, its size will increase, depending on how strong the opponent devoured was. The blob itself has very low tangibility, so striking abilities (punching, kicking etc) will not work on it but instead merely cause that appendage to sink within the blob.
This blob is currently at the size of Mayuri's Bankai, but it moves at the pace of a walking adult, though it does not seem to ever tire in it's movements. It can fire out man-sized humanoid blobs that can move at the speed of his own shunpo. They develop suction cups upon contact with the target (which it can run after) and it will hold on to the target, effectively smothering one limb or the target itself and slowing them down by pumping the paralyzing toxin through the cups until its "mother-ship" arrives to devour the prey. When the blob, or any detachment of it is cut, however, the corrosive liquid that it used to digest food will be spurted out in place of blood, capable of burning through metal and stone.
Shikona Arudema's Skills
Zanjutsu Shikona rathers to not use the Zanpakuto as much in battle since he would rather keep his opponent alive to perform experiments for a later date, So he usually keeps to using more scientific methods of killing fighting with an opponent. Even with that, He is rather skilled with his ability to use it, But never goes for the killing blow, Only to "prevent" further fighting.
Hakuda Shikona's ability to perform hand to hand combat surpasses his ability with a Zanpakuto, Since he would rather stop his opponent or knock them out, His Hakuda is a more Endurance type of fighting.
Kido Shikona's Kido is his top ability that he is strongest in, With quick work he can perform high level Kido, His favourite type of Kido is of course the one's which trap and immoblise an opponent from battle.
Hoho His Hoho is at an average captain level, Nothing really special about his foot work or his flash stepping or anything in the area.
Fighting Style As most would of already guessed that Shikona's fighting style is to paralyze and/or prevent the opponent from continuing to fight, rather then to kill off the opponent, He does love to keep his fallen opponent for experiments, but if it gets to the point of not being able to prevent his opponent he will kill them off, He will also kill off the opponent if the opponent does not interest him.
