Have a feeling a lot of RTSs and other MMOs will wind up here, I'm much more of a console gamer personally. Was messing around on UnikGamer and made a top 25 ranking: http://www.unikgamer.com/users/traydor-3353.html Whats everyone else top games? (and don't say Duke Nukem Forever or Big Rigs!) I've never seen someone who liked AoE III more than 1 and 2 before. =P And Majoras Mask is something I really should play something, difficult to get into some of the N64 titles with the way they've aged. Edited by Aurora, Jan 25 2012, 11:19 PM.

I was never really much for 1, i did play 2 a litte but i like the whole setting of AOE 3 alot better, the age it is set in etc, since there were so many better RTS games out there set in the medieval age which to me were alot better to play than AOE 2 itself I've still got my N64 somewhere, oh god majora's mask don't even remind me of that game i could never figure that out save my life, N64 for me was Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong racing ftw

I've played quite a few games you've probably never heard of :- This was one of the first multiplayer RTS games I ever played on the megadrive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herzog_Zwei We used to have a group of school friends all go around to one of my friends house and play Winter Games/Summer Games before that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:C64_Winter_Games.png I used to own an acorn electron and used to play Elite a classic space trading game, docking a ship was hard without a docking computer though. Coax lans came next and we moved up to PC's things like Doom, then the internet with Enemy Territory a favourite and Battlefield 1942. Plus the original rts games like command and conquer and warcraft. Did some Starcraft with S.O.A people which was fun and am playing a bit of Star Wars now. Currently own PC and Nintendo DS. Computer history lesson over lol. Ikebana |

I don't know much about the Acorn though I think it was an alternative to the Spectrum at the time. My family had that when I was born so was the first thing I remember playing. Seems really weird thinking back that to play a game you had to put a game into a cassette player. o.O And the loading times were horrible. I actually forgot to rank the first game I ever played. Still holds up well too. ^^

Metal Gear Solid (any, 1 and psp games especially, online modes aswell) Parasite Eve 2 Resident Evil (2 and 3 especially) Medievel (any) Heart of Darkness Super Smash Brothers Crash Bandicoot 3 Sonic (The racing game for Sega and SnK especially) Space Jam! House of the Dead Crash Team Racing Starcraft Final Fantasy (X-2, 7, 12 and Crisis Core) There's also a lot of Super Mario RPG's I played but I can't remember which, most on emulators. There's probably a whole bunch I like a lot too but I can't remember them atm, played a lot of Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, and Playstation 1 when I was younger. Nowadays there's a lot of good games but rarely do they scarr you for life! (in a good way =p) |

A reference list of all the AAA+ RPG games out there (or things loosely related to the genre) for people looking to play that kind of thing. Liam wanted one so figured I'd share it here. ![]() (http://s13.postimage.org/5t3pygmjq/rpglist.jpg) 34 games total, all judged by modern standards so excluding those that have aged badly. Make sure you play them all.
