Is there anything in particular people are hoping for? I'm interested to see what Nintendo have to offer with the Wii U. I'm expecting a huge blowout to include release date & launch games. Really interested to see how they have evolved their online structure aswell. Edited by Liam, Jun 1 2012, 04:28 PM.

They've been slow to embrace online gaming in general and whatever about an MMO they've never made an effort to create a serious 3D pokemon adventure either which has been frustrating. The anime already set out the perfect template for such a game so its not as if imagining the poke world in 3D would be difficult or anything. I think Nintendos view on Pokemon just differs to what most of us would like it to be, they view Pokemon as primarily being portable, about trading, sharing and battling. I think most people just like the rpg and the environment the poke world creates. If Game Freak had more control they'd probably have looked to expand into those areas by now but I'd imagine Nintendo has them on a tight leash. |
