NOTE: in this guide ill just skip the getting the key&getting there part, only will post how to succesfully slay NEX in a 5-6 man team and a few tips/info. A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD GET BEFORE YOU START NEXING[/font](not 100% needed but will make you trips longer and more enjoyable) -Chaotic crossbow. -Spectral spirit shield/ Elysian spirit shield/EEK -Rigour prayer. -Ancient Ceremonial Robes. -OVERLOADS. -Yak. why not divine? you could bring divine but your prayer would get owned and you will mostlikely tank every zaros phase. THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW 1)when you are gearing up try to get your mage bonus def as high as possible. 2)in the 1st, 3rd, 4th and zaros phase nex will camp people; by distance the person who is most far away will be attacked, Second: overall stats if you brew and dont restore your stats up and everyone is at the same distance you will be attacked and Third: magical defence bonus. 3)MD means Melee Distance, that means you gotta stay close enough so nex can melee you. 4)Use Diamonds (e) on the minions you dont wanna waste LP with ruby (e) spec on minions. MY GEAR/INV/YAK   KILLING NEX Before you go in overload and brew up to full LP, then bank for a new ovl and brew (4). Go inside and stand in the middle of the room and MD. SPAWN/SMOKE PHASE Claw spec her twice then drink a sip of recovery special and range her, i suggest you pray melee since anti mage wont reduce damage and if she melee you it reduces damage significantly. When she says "There is no... Scape" Dont panic just brew till your LP is 800+. Once she calls her first minion Fumus (north-west corner) go and dd and then attack Fumus so the person who is getting attacked can lure away, when you kill this minion and your character is saying *cough* stay away from your team mates until you see a msg in your chatbox that says the clouds of smoke aroud you disipate. SHADOW PHASE In this phase is where most of the people die but it isnt that hard, try to stay as far from nex as possible and keep hitting her with you ruby bolts (e). when you see her shout "Embrace the darkness" a shadow will spawn under you move away from that as quick as possible it can hit up to 601 get you K0'd. after a few hits she will call her next Minion Umbra (nort-east corner) no need to dd but stay MD'd to Umbra while Nex is being lured, while killing this minion drop another sip of recovery special. If you are luring try to get nex to the stairs of the bank is easiers to do blood phase there. BLOOD PHASE Here before you spec twice on nex again hit reavers with range then get on nex (DO THIS EVERY TIME SHE USES SYPHON ATTACK). After using your claw specs on nex go MD and switch to range and use ruby bolts (e) on her. eventually she will say "I demand a blood sacrifice" this attack will drain ~50% of your current prayer pts so i suggest you to keep your prayer points as low as possible for this phase, after she says "I demand a blood sacrifice" count 5 hits with range and she should scream "A syphon will solve this"(or something like dat :P)at that moment get off nex and hit reavers twice and then get back on her until she calls her third minion Cruor (South-East corner), when you get there you wanna stay as close to nex as you can since she will attack by distance this means the person who is more far away. ICE PHASE here you will want to be MD'd since her magic attack will drain your prayer constantly, in this phase keep hitting her with your ruby bolts (e) and when she shouts "contain this" run away from here or you will get trapped on a giant prison of ice this is a multi attack so it can trap your team mates, when you se her say "Die in a prison of ice" if you are the one getting attaked brew up to 990LP since this attack can hit up to 700LP plus a melee hit from nex of ~200LP, if she do this to a team mate you can release him by clicking on the ice stalagmited around your team mate. after you down some Nex's LP she will call her fourth and last Minion Glacies (South-west corner). Attack this minion with your diamond bolts (e) and be aware of nex's attaks ("contain this" and "die in a prison of ice"). ZAROS PHASE After you are done with the 4th Minion get MD'd and start attacking nex with your Diamond bolts (e) she will camp people according to the stuff i said up in "THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW". just keep attacking her when she dies she will mushroom bomb you so run away until the drop pops out in you chat box. after all that you are ready to get some l00t4t10ns.  sorry about the grammar but im a 4nr  EDIT: LURES: TAG= hit nex. On first phase when she calls the minion and she is on you just turn your run off and moonwalk (walk towards her so she cant attack you)then when your team mates tell you to tag hit nex. On second phase if she is on you just run away from your team mates and head to the stairs and wait till your teams mates tell you to tag. no more lures needed. NOTE: YOU CAN FORCE ALL LURES BUT ITS TOO HARD TO EXPLAIN, YOU WILL LEARN ALL OF THIS WHEN YOU START NEXING MORE OFTEN. E#2: -This might be a little bit outdated since i wrote it a few months ago but it will still work. -SPECTRAL SPIRIT SHIELD is not allowed on most of the teams now what shield to bring : *Elisyan spirit shield *Divine spirit shield *Eagle eye shield *if you are in a void team bring your Void deflector. Ur inventory isnt the best one ( not trying 2 be rude or w/e ) U should bring 23 brews 7 restores in yak / 3 overlaods / 3 spec recovers / 12 super rests / 3 brews / rest with random stuff ( anti , uni , tele , uni scrolls etc ) got like 1 year experience @ nex and got shitlaods of bankloot their so yeah if ur ever need a person or more i would love 2 join with some m8s `Jay |
