How do I post get a signature, and how can I modify it? While on this forum, go to the top right of any page and move the pointer to "Preferences" and then click "Change Signature". There, you have a group of buttons for you to add whatever you want, including a link button which allows you to display a link to website, blog, tumblr account, or any other thing that belongs to you, or whatever website you'd like to share. If you want to post an image on your computer, go to Photobucket or Imageshack. Keep in mind that the signature limits for this forum are 600 pixels in weight and 200 pixels in height. How do I get an avatar? Again, whenever you are on this forum, go to the top right of any page and move the pointer to "Preferences". Click "Change Avatar" this time. Near the bottom of the page, there are two options, the upper one for uploading an image from your computer and the bottom one for copying and pasting a URL for you to use as an avatar. The avatar size limits are 120x120 pixels. How do I post a YouTube video? Posting a YouTube video is a little tricky, and we apologize for this, but once you know how to do it, it's pretty simple. First, go to the YouTube video that you would like to show. Below the video, there is a button that says "Share". Click it, and then the URL of the video will be displayed and already highlighted for you to copy and past. And if you don't know how to copy and past, highlight whatever you want, hold onto CTRL and then press "C". Next, hold into CTRL and then press "V" at where you would like to past what you copied. Once you copied the URL for the video, make sure you have the advanced reply options, and then click the Flash button above the box in which you type whatever you want to post. Something will pop up asking you to enter the complete URL for the flash file. Paste the URL of the video. Next, it will ask you for the size of the video both in height and in width. You should end up with something like this:
But neither you nor anyone else will have the ability to see the video. Here's the correct way to type when you want to show a YouTube video:
If you replace "youtu.be" with "www.youtube.com" and and "v/" before the group of random letters and numbers that represent what video you're showing, then you'll have the ability to show the video. And then, wala! We will add more when need be. |
