Episode XX

Mike Vincent: Welcome everyone to the Twentieth Episode of AXW! I'm Mike Vincent along with Cole Haywood, and Cole a lot has changed in not only AXW, but EWS as a whole.

Cole Haywood: Rick Leban stepping down, Rising Sun shutting down, Rage and Fury merging.... Meanwhile AXW has been going strong in EWS for a year now, and I'm proud to have helped every step of the way.

Mike Vincent: You've only been here since January.

"I Want Out" transitions into "We Are" by Hollywood Undead.

The playing of AXW's old theme song raises some confusion in the arena. Luke Mathews walks out onto the stage, following him is Janet Hurricane. Coming out behind her is Justin Wyndham, and finally the new AXW Champion Crash Jackson. Luke takes a look at them, and then leads them to the ring.

Luke Mathews: First and foremost, let's hear it for the NEW AXW Champion, Crash Jackson!

The crowd cheers.

Luke Mathews: People come and go in AXW, but these three wrestlers in the ring with me have been here from the beginning, with Janet even competing in the original AXW. All four of us have been on the bad side of TRENT as of late... and I know the reason why. It's because of me. You see, I think I've finally figured it out. Many years ago when I adopted Trent, he became a Mathews. A Mathews has a dial inside them that can go from zero to relentless asshole in a heartbeat. Last year when Trent lost the Legacy Championship, that dial slowly started cranking up... which leads us to today. You see, Trent is--

Luke gets cut off by "Lycanthrope".

TRENT walks out onto the stage, flanked by Bruiser Lazzou.

TRENT: Cut the music! You wanna know what TRENT is? I'll tell you what TRENT is. TRENT is NOT a Mathews, TRENT is NOT a Peters, TRENT is TRENT. TRENT is also considering firing all of you for assaulting your boss. You wanna talk about this imaginary dial? What's yours been as of late, Luke? In the negatives? You certainly are a shell of the man you used to be. And you... (pointing at Crash) don't forget that you have to defend that title against Bruiser Lazzou in his guaranteed rematch.

Crash Jackson: In which case I'll send him back to the lobster cage he crab-walked out of, and if you try to get involved again, I'll beat you so bad you'll be spelling your name lower case.

TRENT: You are walking on thin ice, pal.

Luke Mathews: You know, you say you've got nothing to prove but, that's not the way it looks to me right now.

TRENT: What are you talking about?

Luke Mathews: Well, if you're this great leader you think you are, wouldn't you have more people on your side? There's four of us and only two of you.

TRENT: Is that supposed to be threatening? You think I'm scared of Luke Mathews' shell, a guy who's too busy getting his ass kicked by the entire Sin City Shooters Club to be a threat, a paper champion, and... Janet Hurricane? Please.

Luke Mathews: So... you're saying that you're not scared?

TRENT: That's exactly what I'm saying.

Luke Mathews: So I guess that means that you're not afraid to have your elite two-man team face my non-threatening four-person team in a match where if your team wins, you keep control of AXW, but if my team wins, I regain control of AXW...

TRENT: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute, I see what you're doing, I'm not playing this game.

Luke Mathews: I thought you said you weren't scared? Guess your balls haven't dropped yet, huh? I thought I raised you to be a man, but I guess I raised a spineless... yellow-bellied... coward... chicken shit... sissy...

TRENT: Okay, you know what? Fine. I'll think about it. In the meantime I have a show to run, and you have a match to get ready for. In tonight's main event it's Luke Mathews vs. a pissed off Bruiser Lazzou. Get out of my ring.

Once the dust settles from that opening segment, we head into our first match.

AXW Double Debut Match
Rodney Daniels vs. Ryuji Fuyuki

Ryuji hits several kicks to the leg of the bigger Daniels, before connecting with a dragon screw and locking in a half-crab. Daniels however uses his size and power advantage to easily make his way to the rope. Ryuji hits a spinning heel kick, before going off the ropes. On the rebound, Rodney takes Ryuji to the mat with a drop toe hold, followed by punches to the back of the head. Rodney brings Ryuji to his feet, Ryuji hits Rodney with a hard chop. Rodney brushes his chest and actually encourages Ryuji to chop him again. Ryuji obliges, this time chopping harder than the previous one. Rodney wants another, Ryuji runs off the ropes to get some more momentum behind his third chop. Rodney insists on one more, Ryuji goes off the ropes and on the rebound nearly gets decapitated from a bicycle kick from Daniels. Rodney starts showing off his strength by lifting Fuyuki in a vertical suplex, and holding him there for a good 30 seconds, before changing gears and hitting an over-the shoulder powerslam. Rodney grabs Ryuji by the throat with both hands, before throwing him over his head with a throat suplex. Ryuji regroups in the corner, and Daniels comings barreling in only to get a boot to the face. Fuyuki pulls himself to the top rope and leaps off, and gets caught mid-air by Daniels in a Fireman's Carry position. Daniels does a few airplane spins before swinging Fuyuki into a cutter, hitting the Bully Beatdown, which sees a decisive victory.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner, RODNEY DANIELS!

Mike Vincent: Impressive showing by Rodney Daniels in his AXW debut tonight.

Cole Haywood: It was fun to see him man-handle someone much smaller than him, but I personally would love to see him man-handle someone closer to his size. Someone like Crash Jackson, maybe Rodney can rid AXW of him for good.

Mike Vincent:
High hopes, I think both of those men are here to stay for quite a while.

After the match, Rodney connects with another Bully Beatdown for good measure.

After a quick recap of the AXW Women's Championship Match from Supershow V, we return to ringside.

“Unbreakable” by Fireflight blares over the PA system as the crowd pops for the emerging Hailey Harris! Hailey is clad in a sleeveless Baltimore Orioles top, white cargo shorts and matching sneakers, the AXW Women ‘s Title slung over her right shoulder. She stops at the top of the ramp and looks around, a genuine smile on her face as she blows kisses to the crowd.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Please welcome the AXW Women’s Champion and Baltimore’s own, HAILEY HARRIS!!!

Hailey takes her time, slapping hands with fans, even hugging a little girl with a sign for her before entering the ring and holding her title up high, pointing around at the crowd that “This is for you” before taking a mic, the crowd still going crazy as her music fades.

Mike Vincent: Listen to this ovation for the hometown girl, Hailey Harris!

Cole Haywood: Eh, these are the same people who think looting-

Mike Vincent: Cole!

Cole Haywood:
What? I didn’t say nothin’.

Hailey seems genuinely moved by this response, nodding as she brings the mic to her lips.

Hailey Harris: Hello, Baltimore! Hello, Longshots!

Once again the crowd pops, as Hailey takes a deep breath.

Hailey Harris: What a ride it’s been, hasn’t it. I was just a girl from Baltimore, the same girl that would go to the Baltimore Aquarium, or go see our Orioles play, but I was a girl with a dream, a dream that even I didn’t always believe in as much as my parents did, as much as you guys did, and as my parents brought me up to always dream and dream big, all of you taught me to never give up on my dreams. The same can be said for my brother, who I know is watching right now. I love you.

Hailey looks to the heavens and blows a kiss as the crowd claps, Hailey tearing up a bit before taking another breath and looking down at her championship.

Hailey Harris: Through it all, the injuries, the self-doubt, clawing and scratching my way to this moment, and here we are. I am the AXW Women’s Champion, and I am damn proud to be YOUR champion, Longshots.

A “Love You, Hailey” chant starts up, causing Hailey to stop and smile.

Hailey Harris: I love you, too. I defeated Sierra Starr as you saw, and I am the only woman in the history of this company to defend their title at a Supershow. Sounds great, right? Seems someone has a problem with that, with us, and I’m no stranger to her. Of course I’m talking about Caitlin Shay. Now Caitlin, we’ve been down-

Hailey is interrupted by “Snake Charmer” by Blink-182 as the crowd boos the hell out of Caitlin Shay who emerges with a smirk on her face, walking unimpressed to the ring.

Mike Vincent: The Baltimore faithful not happy to see Caitlin Shay.

Cole Haywood: Well I for one certainly am, Mike. I’ve had enough of this whole Hallmark Channel crap.

Caitlin enters the ring, a mic already in her hand, her face, once with a smirk, turning to a scowl.

Caitlin Shay: You’d think that championship would have given you the ability to use your brain, but I see that just isn’t the case.

Hailey Harris: This coming from the woman who interviews herself.

The crowd laughs as Caitlin looks around, pissed at being played, but maintains her composure.

Caitlin Shay: You want to talk about going down roads, your journey in your career? Bitch, please. I’ve worked just as hard but never received the same kind of recognition. I have never got a shot at the AXW Women’s Championship and I’m not waiting, Hailey, I’m taking action, as you saw first hand, didn’t you?

Caitlin laughs as the crowd boos, Hailey nodding before speaking again.

Hailey Harris:
Didn’t I beat your skanky ass in a cage as you tried climbing out of it?

Caitlin Shay: I-I’m claustrophobic! You bitch! This is the kind of champion you people want, someone who preys on the fears of others?

Hailey Harris: What do you guys think? Am I good champ? Or would you rather have someone who is probably afraid of when her chai tea is too hot in her container from Starbucks?

Caitlin is fuming as the crowd continues to give her hell. Hailey turns to play to the crowd as Caitlin drops the mic and goes to swing for a cheap shot, Hailey seeing it and peppers Caitlin with shots before hitting her with a clothesline that sends her over the ropes to the floor. Caitlin is spazzing out as “Unbreakable” by Fireflight starts up again, Hailey celebrating with her hometown crowd!

Cole Haywood: I have to agree with Caitlin, Mike, how can anyone cheer for a mean girl like Hailey Harris?

Mike Vincent: Oh get off it, Cole! Caitlin is just trying to play mind games with Hailey, but it isn’t affecting our champion one bit!

Singles Match
Cletus Mathews vs. Ryan Starr

The two Light Heavyweights lock up, with Cletus taking control as he gets Starr in a side headlock before dropping him with a bulldog. Cletus srpingboards off the second rope and hits Ryan with a dropkick. Cletus clotheslines Ryan over the top rope and out of the ring. Cletus runs the ropes and comes flying out of the ring with a tope con hilo. Cletus takes some time to high five some of the fans at ringside before re-entering the ring. Starr also enters the ring and Cletus looks to drop him with a DDT, but Ryan counters it into a Northern Lights Suplex, landing in a beautiful bridge for a two count. Ryan quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle from inside the ring before jumping off with a tornado DDT to Mathews. Ryan then locks in a chin lock, but Cletus manages to get to his feet and break free. Ryan quickly grabs the legs of Cletus and takes him back down, looking for a Starr to Remember but Cletus manages to scurry to the ropes. Cletus gets to his feet and runs at Starr but is stopped dead in his tracks by a superkick. Ryan climbs to the top rope and looks to catch Cletus with Burning Flames but Cletus moves out of the way. Ryan actually manages to barely land on his feet. Cletus attempts to attack but once again has his legs taken out from under him, this time locking in the Code Red which forces Cletus to tap out.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a submission, RYAN STARR!

Mike Vincent: Cletus had a strong start but I think him interacting with the fans ultimately cost him the match.

Cole Haywood: Well Cletus does have a lot in common with all the fans here tonight.

Mike Vincent: ...Do I wanna ask?

Cole Haywood: Handicapped.

After the match Ryan helps Cletus to his feet. Ryan offers his hand for a hand shake but Cletus just walks away.

-----

We're backstage at the interview set.

Renee Peltier: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Olya Oglovska. Olya, what are your thoughts on what transpired after your match at Supershow V?

Olya Oglovska: I tried too take Bobo to da top of AXW, but I learned dat Bobo is just too stubborn. It turns out Bobo wanted all da spotlight for himself, so he left for FSW. Bobo made da biggest mistake of his life by leavink me.

Renee Peltier: Well, one could argue that it was you who wanted the spotlight for yourself after that match.

Olya Oglovska: And those people are wronk. Before I took Bobo under my wink, I was on a winnink streak, while he was losink. Now dat he's by himself, he'll continue losink. Bobo needed me. But I certainly don't need Bobo. I will continue too be successful on my own.

Tag Team Match
Non-Title

The Push vs. The Kingdom Cripplers

Connor Riordan starts things off with Timmy McDermott. The two lock up and Connor knees Timmy in the gut, before taking him down with a snap suplex. Connor connects with a Dragon Screw and looks to lock in an ankle lock but Timmy manages to slither out and tag in Jimmy. Jimmy comes in taking Connor down with a series of clotheslines, before planting Connor with a DDT. Jimmy looks to hook Connor in a suplex but Connor reverses into a Northern Lights Suplex then tags in Ian. Ian comes in with a diving crossbody to Jimmy. Ian connects with a fireman's carry takedown and a hangman's neckbreaker. Ian tags Connor back in and the duo hit a superkick/German suplex combo. Connor hits his Celtic Fury which sees a close two count as Timmy would break it up. Connor looks to hit Jimmy with a Celtic-Plex, but Jimmy flips out of it, landing on his feet, then dives to tag in Timmy. Timmy takes Connor down with a running elbow, a back body drop, a swinging neckbreaker, and a backbreaker. Timmy climbs to the top rope, looking for one of his finishing maneuvers, but is pushed off by Jason as Hand of Blood have stormed the ring.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here are your winners as a result of a disqualification, THE PUSH!

Timmy takes a hard fall to the floor, while Inferno brings Jimmy to the floor with a Laceration off the apron. In the ring, The Kingdom Cripplers are regrouping, as Hand of Blood enter the ring and plow through them all. Michael Blythe gets chucked out of the ring by Jason, before the Bloodhounds connect with Last Offices to Connor Riordan, and then a Perdition for Ian McTavish. Hand of Blood stand tall in the ring as the bodies of The Push and The Cripplers are laid out in the ring and on the floor.

Mike Vincent: It's safe to say that the Hand of Blood are not happy after losing their titles.

Cole Haywood:
Well, in the long run they did lose to Taylor Swift. Where's Kanye West when you need him?

A bloody hand swipes across the screen before heading to commercials.

We return from commercials to the Blazenwing locker room.

David Slayton: Hey, I got a match coming up, but I just wanted to say that I'm proud of you.

Jay Blazenwing: Thanks, bro.

David Slayton:
I don't care what anyone says, Supershow V was YOUR night. It was you that got the pin in our tag match on Olya, you pinned the former champ Damien Steele, and Ryan Starr in one night. But hey, don't think I'm gonna let my little brother outshine me, because I'm about to become a two-time Adrenaline Champion.

Jay Blazenwing: I'm looking forward to seeing that. While we're at it, let's go get the AXW Title, the Tag Straps, I'll even go put a wig on and take home the Women's Title.

David Slayton: I would absolutely love to see that, but first things first, I'm gonna take back what I should have never lost from ol' Frenchie.

Jay Blazenwing:
Good luck.

AXW Adrenaline Championship
Jean-Pierre Frontenac (c) vs. David Slayton

David Slayton made his entrance second. After the referee raises the title into the air and calls for the bell, is when JPF exits the ring, grabbing a microphone.

Jean-Pierre Frontenac: You must have a bad memory, Monsieur Slayton. I am a man of my word, and if you do not remember, my word is that as long as je suis Champion d'Adrénaline, Bobo Sweetcakes, David Slayton, and Jay Blazenwing do not get a shot at my title. Au revoir!

JPF makes his way to the back, obviously not making it back in time to stop the 10 count.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a count out, DAVID SLAYTON!

Mike Vincent: Bobo Sweetcakes isn't even in AXW anymore, the issue between him and David Slayton is over, and now Slayton still doesn't get a title shot?

Cole Haywood: Jean-Pierre Frontenac is a man of his word, Mike. Months back he said that none of them would give a title opportunity when he's champion, and here is he standing tall as champion once again.

The referee raises David Slayton's hand, only for him to rip it out as he is not happy of being duped out of a title opportunity.

-----

The camera zooms out from a monitor that just showed what happened, as we see Mateusz Bartkowiak standing next to it, shaking his head.

Mateusz Bartkowiak: Despicable. When I was champion I wasn't afraid of a fight. I took on anyone who wanted an opportunity at the Adrenaline Championship and I did it with honor. If that's the way Jean-Pierre is gonna act, then I think we need a new champion. This isn't over between us, JPF, and I will be seeing you again real soon.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Ladies and gentlemen this is your Main Event, and it is scheduled for one fall!

"Still Counting" by Volbeat starts to play as the camera pans from the crowd to the jumbotron, showing a bit of the entrance video, before shifting to the stage where Luke Mathews emerges from the back. Clad in a "Mr. No F***s Given" Shirt, he raises his arms with his pointer fingers extended, before making his way down the ramp.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Introducing first, from West Palm Beach, Florida, weighing in at 239 pounds, LUKE MATHEWS!

He walks up the ring steps, wipes his boots on the apron, before entering the ring. He stands in the middle of the ring, once again with his arms raised and pointer fingers extended. He backs to his corner, taking his shirt off and tossing it behind him, not caring if it makes it to the crowd or just lands on the floor.

"Code Red" by Nonpoint blares as a red light shines down on the ramp, flashing and flickering as Bruiser Lazzou emerges to a chorus of boos in a black singlet with a red hazard symbol on it, cracking his knuckles and then slapping his face, roaring and then pounding his chest before heading to the ring, yelling "YOU ALL DID THIS TO ME!" to fans, some of the younger ones still so traumatized by the sudden turn of this once beloved hero.

Salvatore Pellegrino: And his opponent, from Augusta, Maine, weighing in at 325 pounds, BRUISER LAZZOU!

He enters the ring and runs the ropes, stomping his feet like a bull and roaring once again with his arms extended and his head tilted back, roaring once more as his music fades out.

MAIN EVENT
Luke Mathews vs. Bruiser Lazzou

The match starts off with both men throwing fists, with Lazzou on the winning end. Lazzou forces Mathews to the mat with a vicious STO. Lazzou starts stomping on Mathews before Mathew manages to grab Lazz's foot and takes him down to the mat, locking in an STF. Lazzou manages to pull himself to the ropes to break the hold. Luke runs to the opposite ropes and on the way back, Lazzou back body drops him over the top rope and Luke Mathews goes flying out of the ring. Lazzou goes out after him and throws him hard into the ring steps. Lazzou picks him back up and throws him into the other set of ring steps. Lazzou rolls him into the ring only to get a two count. Lazzou would go on to hit his big moves, Full Nelson slam, spinebuster, powerbomb, and Bruising Bodies. All of this only gets Lazzou a two count and he again chucks Luke Mathews out of the ring. Lazzou slams Luke face first off the announce table, then looks to ram him into the apron, but Luke manages to get free and shoves Lazzou into the apron instead. Luke hits Bruiser with a superkick, then climbs to the top turnbuckle and looks for a moonsault, but Lazzou manages to catch him and slams him down onto the apron, which is in fact the hardest part of the ring. Lazzou shoves Luke back into the ring. Lazzou sets Luke on the top turnbuckle and climbs up with him. Lazzou is looking for Bruised and Battered but Luke elbows himself free. Luke shoves Lazzou down to the mat with his foot, then quickly hits a Shooting Star Press, getting himself a two count. Both men get to their feet. Lazzou looks to hit Luke with a clothesline but Luke ducks it and hits a zigzag. Luke follows that up with a Point Blank. Luke awaits for Lazzou to get to his feet and signals that he's gonna go for a NFG, only to get cracked in the back by a steel chair by Cletus Mathews.

Salvatore Pellegrino: Here is your winner as a result of a disqualification, LUKE MATHEWS!

Mike Vincent: What is Cletus doing? He's attacking his own cousin!

Cole Haywood: We all know Cletus isn't all there mentally, someone should tell him rednecks are supposed to sleep with their cousins not attack them!

Luke falls to his knees wincing in pain, and Cletus now slams the chair right on top of Luke's head. Cletus sets the chair down on the mat, brings Luke to his knees, before piledriving Luke head first onto the chair. Cletus drags Luke near a corner, allowing Bruiser Lazzou to crush him with the Bruiser Bomb. Cletus and Bruiser exit the ring as the last image the cameras pick up is a fallen Luke Mathews.

Episode XV

After pyro blasts from the stage and the cameras pan across the crowd, we rest on the announce table.

Lily Luna: Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 15 of The Alternative! I'm Lily Luna.

Chris Pierce: And I'm Chris Pierce.

Lily Luna: We're your new commentators for The Alternative, and we're gonna start the show off with an explanation from Cletus Mathews.

Out walks Cletus Mathews, sporting a shorter hair cut as opposed to the longer hair he's had, and he's carrying a chair, the one he used to attack Luke Mathews with. Cletus sets the chair up in the ring and takes a seat on it.

Cletus Mathews: All my life, I've been picked on, I've been made fun of, because I'm not like everyone else. My ma always told me that I was "special", and that's why I was in special ed and not regular classes like the normal kids. Growing up I was always the odd one out because of my mental handicap. I've never wrestled with or against any of my cousins... why? Because I'm not the sharpest bulb in the shed? I've always been by myself while they all wrestled together....

Chris Pierce: Can I just point out he said "sharpest bulb in the shed?"

Lily Luna: Don't make fun of him. He's having a very sensitive moment right now.

Cletus Mathews: ....You know, I have no memory of my life before the age of five... people always ask me if I were dropped on my head, and well, I was. My ma told me that it was cousin Luke who dropped me on my head. (Cletus stands up) Which is why I dropped Luke on his head on this chair. My last name is Mathews but I certainly don't feel like one. All the other Mathews got to wrestle together in CCW, on Fury, while I've always been left by myself. No more. Y'all will rec-a-nize the name Cletus Mathews, proud member of Team TRENT.

Cletus drops his microphone and folds his chair back up, taking it with him as he leaves the ring.

Lily Luna: Shocking discovery revealed by Cletus, he was dropped on his head as a kid by his cousin Luke Mathews. I don't know what to make of this information.

Chris Pierce: Doesn't surprise me, Luke once attacked Madden O'Reilly's parents in their own home, this man has sympathy for no one.

Lily Luna:
Switching gears, let's head into our first match.

Tag Team Match
The Young Gunnz vs. Hand of Blood

The Hand of Blood, still not in a good mood since they lost their titles, don't even allow a match to begin as they both just start attacking the Gunnz Brothers before a bell can be rung. The Young Gunnz try to fight back, and are giving it all they have, but Hand of Blood are just too pissed off to be phased by their attacks. Jason temporarily stabilizes Matthew Gunnz with a spin-out powerbomb. The Bloodhounds of AXW plant Nick Gunnz with a Perdition, then bring their attention back to Matthew. Inferno locks Matthew in the Bloodless Death, while Jason also applies the Pyrolysis, when combined it's a maneuver they call A Vision of Fire. Suddenly, the duo submission maneuver is broken up by Ian McTavish and Connor Riordan as they storm the ring and bring the fight right to Hand of Blood. Riordan stomps away on Inferno to ensure he doesn't get up. Meanwhile Jason takes no shit from McTavish as he clutches him by the throat. McTavish steps on Jason's foot, then quickly runs off the ropes. Connor comes in from behind, hitting a chop block while McTavish leaps into the air with a busaiku knee kick, taking the big man out with the Call of the Kingdom. Inferno is to his feet and looks for a double clothesline, the Cripplers ducking and taking Inferno down with a Beefeater. The Kingdom stand tall in the ring while Michael Blythe grabs a microphone.

MATCH RESULT: Never began

Michael Blythe: Hand of Blood, I don't care how intimidating you boys think you are, you simply are not. I don't care about your title loss, I don't care about your feud with the Push. I do care about you sticking your noses where they don't belong. When my Cripplers are doing their business within these ropes, and you're not the ones on the other side of their crippling, then you have no business to come out here. Come on, boys.

Michael drops the microphone and escorts his team back up the entrance way.

Lily Luna: The scheduled match was supposed to be Hand of Blood vs. Young Gunnz, and the Kingdom Cripplers interjected themselves, so... doesn't that sort of make Michael Blythe a hypocrite?

Chris Pierce: Michael Blythe was making a statement that his team is not one to mess with. Plus, the match never started, so no, he's not a hypocrite. When there's not a match going on, then it's fair game.

Lily Luna: Fair enough, I have no argument for that.

We head backstage.

-----

Gina Furlow: Ladies and gentlemen, Caitlin Shay.

The camera pans over to see Caitlin Shay. She's looking off in the distance, with an unpleased look on her face.

Gina Furlow: Caitlin, last night you tried to attack Hai--

Caitlin's head darts to look Gina in the eye as she interrupts her.

Caitlin Shay: That's what you wanna talk about? I could be in my private dressing room drinking some Starbucks and browsing Instagram, but I'm forced to come out here to be asked dumb questions by a Caitlin Shay wannabe?

Gina has a face as if she's trying to quickly decide what part of that to dissect.

Gina Furlow: You have a private dressing room?

Caitlin Shay: Yes, it's in my rider along with -- look, nevermind that. What really bugs me about your question is that there was a lot more that happened before that. I've worked just as hard-- no, harder than Hailey has yet Hailey gets all the praise. I'm not just gonna sit back anymore, I'm taking action. I'm the next in line for an AXW Women's Championship Match. Hailey was pandering to that loser crowd, then had the audacity to disrespect me, which is why I had to put her in her place.

Gina Furlow: But, she was the one that had the upper hand. It was you who--

Caitlin Shay: I'm not gonna stand here and continue to be disrespected by some third rate interviewer. I have a match up next.

Caitlin looks as if she's about to walk away, but turns back and gives a hard slap across Gina's face! Gina is shocked by this as Caitlin walks away.

Singles Match
Caitlin Shay vs. Janet Hurricane

A rematch from last week's Alternative, the ladies lock up. Almost the exact same height and weight, Janet shows that she has the better strength, slowly forcing Caitlin to her knees. Or maybe Caitlin was showing that had more smarts, as she headbutts Janet in the gut and connects with a bridging fisherman suplex only getting her a one count. Caitlin remains in control as she plants Janet with a spinebuster. Caitlin drives Janet's head into the mat with a single underhook DDT. Janet starts to get up and before she can fully stand, Caitlin hits her with a pele kick, the top of Caitlin's foot catching the back of Janet's head. Caitlin now takes this time to remind the crowd that she gets a title shot, while Janet gets none. Caitlin heads up top and looks for a diving crossbody but Janet side steps, Caitlin crashing to the mat. Janet springboards off the rope and catches Caitlin with a Beautiful Disaster. Janet starts getting fired and takes her down with a snap suplex, a reverse DDT, a spinning backbreaker, a Tropical Storm, and a Last Breath of Air. All this getting her only a two count. Janet gets Caitlin out on the apron, setting her up for a Cry of Terror, but Caitlin pulls herself back out onto the apron and just straight up punches Janet in the temple. Janet stumbles back and Caitlin springboards back in with a headscissors that sends Janet face first into the top turnbuckle. Caitlin runs off the ropes and hits a forearm smash to the cornered Caitlin, then pulls her to the middle of the ring to hit the Shayplex. At this time, Caitlin gets distracted as she sees Hailey Harris make her way out from backstage. Caitlin approaches the ropes by the entrance way as she starts yelling at Hailey. This allows Janet to sneak in with a 15 Seconds of Faming, pinning Caitlin for the victory.

Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, JANET HURRICANE!

Lily Luna: As much of a bitch Caitlin is, she really is improving in the ring.

Chris Pierce: But she's got to keep her focus and not allow Hailey to get to her. If you wanna become a champion, you can't let your guard down for a second, especially if you're in the ring with a former champion and one of the best wrestlers on the roster in Janet Hurricane.

Lily Luna: I'm just happy I don't have to share a locker room with Caitlin.

After the match, Janet exits the ring and stops when she gets to Hailey. She looks at Hailey, then at the AXW Women's Championship, then at her own wrist (as if she's wearing a watch), then back at Hailey. The camera picks up Janet saying, "Not much longer til I get my one-on-one rematch.

With that, we cut backstage.

-----

Max Kilburne: I'm standing here with the AXW Champion, Crash Jackson. Crash, I wanna ask about this whole thing with the allegiance with Luke Mathews and the challenge to TRENT and Bruiser Lazzou, but I've just been informed that in tonight's Main Event, you will be facing one half of the EWS World Tag Team Champions, Sin City Shooters Club member, TOA. Can I get your thoughts on that?

Crash Jackson: TOA doesn't intimidate me. No one does, for that matter. TRENT keeps trying to put me in matches with people who are supposed to be these great, dominant, destructive forces... but he's too... what's the word... blind? Ignorant? Stupid? Let's go with all of the above - he fails to realize that I, myself, am this great, dominant, destructive force. If I could take a moment to be a broken record and remind everyone, specifically TRENT, that about 7 months ago I absolutely DESTROYED Crest Silver. Where's Crest Silver now you ask? No one knows. After all this time, he still has not been heard from. That's how dangerous I am. And I have nothing more to say about us calling out TRENT. All the cards were laid out, the four of us vs his team. Obviously his team is at a handicap, and I'm not just talking about Cletus.

With that, we head back to the ring.

Triple Threat Match
Morgan Page (w/Stella Quinn) vs. Olya Oglovska vs. Mariposa

Mariposa is no stranger to AXW, as she appeared in the original fed in 2013. She quickly forms an alliance with Morgan Page to try to neutralize Olya, the duo taking Olya down with a double suplex. They follow that up with a double hip toss then double clothesline her over the rope and to the floor. Morgan sprints off the opposite ropes and takes Olya down with a suicide dive. Mariposa comes over the top rope with a tope con hilo taking them both out. Mariposa rolls Olya into the ring only to get a one count. Mariposa looks to stay in control but Olya hits her with a Soviet Sickle. Olya takes her down with a Russian leg sweep. Morgan looks to re-enter herself into the match but Olya lifts her onto her shoulders with a rolling fireman's carry slam. Olya now starts throwing suplexes at anything that moves, Fisherwoman for Mariposa, Dragon for Morgan, Sambo for Mariposa, Wheelbarrow for Morgan. Olya sets Mariposa on the top rope and is looking for a superplexed, but is stopped when Morgan starts clubbing her in the back. Morgan climbs up with them and brings Olya back down with a super back suplex. Mariposa quickly leaps off the top rope, landing on Morgan with an Avión for the victory.

Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, MARIPOSA!

Lily Luna: A successful re-debut for Mariposa here tonight.

Chris Pierce: But let's not take anything away from Olya Oglovksa, she was taking out everyone, and wasn't the one who got pinned.

Mariposa celebrates her win and high fives some fans as we head into commercial.

Renee Peltier: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is Luke Mathews. Luke, can you give us your thoughts about what your cousin Cletus Mathews said earlier?

Luke Mathews: Well, the incident in question took place 23 years ago. I was 10. Cletus has been made well aware that it was an accident, I didn't mean to drop him on his head, and I still feel bad about it to this day. That was not Cletus talking out there, that was Trent talking. I know Trent is using and brainwashing Cletus to pit him against me. At the end of the day, I know that it was an accident, Cletus knows it was an accident, and Trent, your time is running out.

With that, we head back to the ring.

AXW Light Heavyweight Championship
Jay Blazenwing (c) vs. Damien Steele

Jay comes out of the gate swinging, throwing all sorts of kicks, that lead into the Blazen-kick Combination. Jay hits two consecutive Northern Lights suplexes, and looks for a third, but Damien counters into a package DDT. Damien hits a Northern Lights suplex of his own, bridging into a cover for barely a two count. Damien is a man on a mission trying to get his title back, throwing out big moves such as an F-5, a Falcon Arrow, Avada Kedavra, Falling Paroxysm on the apron, and an Avalanche TKO. Upset that he can;t seem to put Jay away with any of these, he argues with the ref, before seeing Jay is in a good position for a Loony Stomp. Damien runs off the ropes and Jay pops to his feet, looking to hit the Legacy Effect, but Damien manages to catch his foot. Damien throws the foot, causing Jay to spin around and Jay instead nails him with a Blazenwing, and a release Blazen-plex. But why stop there? Jay climbs to the top rope and flies off with a Flight of the Phoenix, securing his title.

Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, and STILL the AXW Light Heavyweight Champion, JAY BLAZENWING!

Lily Luna: A successful title defense from Jay Blaze tonight.

Chris Pierce: Arguably the MVP of Supershow V, but this match was all Damien Steele. He barely holds onto the title.

After the match, Jay Blazenwing makes his way to the back and Justin Wyndham makes his way down to the ring. Justin looks at Damien who is starting to stir, and starts to re-enact the opening segment of The Alternative Ep. 11, but with the roles reversed. Justin forms his hand in the shape of a gun, pulls the trigger, goes off the ropes and looks to hit Damien with his own move, the Loony Stomp, but Damien manages to avoid it. Damien and Justin start to get into a fist fight, which Justin starts winning, until TOA slides into the ring and it turns into a two-on-one beat down. They beat up Justin, until a point where TOA holds Justin in position for a Loony Stomp. Damien backs himself into a corner and looks ready to stomp, until...

Out walks Fredrick Wyndham! Fredrick rushes down to the ring and starts bringing it to the Shooters! The Wyndham Brothers eliminate the Shooters from the ring and stand tall inside the ring. The Shooters back off near the announce table area, as TOA has a match to get ready for.

We cut backstage where we see AXW Tag Team Champions The Push and a cardboard cutout of Taylor Swift.

Jimmy Reynolds: Really? You're still doing this cutout thing?

Timmy McDermott: Well, the real T-Swift told me she would've been here, but she said she had to do a concert in Rio de Janeiro.

Jimmy Reynolds: Are you sure it was Taylor who told you that and not Craig Brooks again?

Timmy scratches his head as he ponders that.

Jimmy Reynolds: Anyway, as the AXW Tag Team Champions we know that we now have a target on our backs. I'm sure the Hand of Blood still want their rematch, and did you see what the Kingdom Crashers did earlier?

The Push's promo is interrupted by the Young Gunnz, who step right in front of The Push as they address your camera.

Matthew Gunnz: Michael Blythe, you say that the Kingdom Cripplers are not a team to mess with, well, neither are we.

Nick Gunnz: That's right. See, we could've taken out Hand of Blood on our own, you stuck your noses where they don't belong.

Matthew Gunnz: And when we get done with the four of you, we are coming for the AXW Tag Team Championships!

Jimmy Reynolds: Guys, we're right here...

Timmy McDermott: Plus, you guys got detroyed by Hand of Blood...

The Young Gunnz leave, ignoring The Push, leaving the tag champs confused as we head into our final commercial break.

TOA is already in the ring, pacing back and forth as he never left ringside from the Wyndham altercation.

Jen Brunelli: This is your Main Event scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, already in the ring, accompanied by Damien Steele and representing the Sin City Shooters Club, from the Isle of Samoa, weighing in at 280 pounds. he is one half of the EWS World Tag Team Champions, the "Samoan Executioner" TOA!

Jen Brunelli: And his opponent, from Miami, Florida, weighing in at 258 pounds, he is the AXW Champion, "The Titan" CRASH JACKSON!

"Remedy" by Seether blasts out throughout the arena as ‘The Titan’ Crash Jackson walks out to the top of the ramp. He bounces from foot to foot psyching himself up for his match. He tenses his body up and then throws his arms out to either side and lets out a mighty roar while a small pyrotechnics display goes on right behind him. He starts making his way down to the ring slapping hands with some of the fans on his way. Crash slides in under the bottom ropes to enter the ring. He goes over to a turnbuckle and climbs to the second rope. He beats on his chest with a clenched fist and then throws the same fist up into the air, oozing with pure intensity as he yells out to the crowd. Crash jumps down from there and readies himself in his corner to start the match.

MAIN EVENT
Non-Title

TOA (w/Damien Steele) vs. Crash Jackson

TOA starts attacking Jackson, looking to get some frustration out after being one-upped by the Wyndham brothers moments ago. TOA hts a number of short arm clotheslines before hitting Jackson with a gordbuster. TOA hits the series of various suplexes he calls the Toa-Plex. TOA runs off the ropes and gets caught with an uppercut from Jackson that staggers him. Jackson now runs off the ropes only for TOA to plant him with the Warrior Slam. TOA connects with an exploder suplex that sends Crash Jackson across the ring. Jackson uses the corner to help himself up and gets rocked by a forearm smash, followed by an Execution Kick from TOA. Jackson falls to the mat and is propped up against the bottom turnbuckle. TOA rubs his boot across Jackson's face for some facewashes before going across the ring and sprinting full speed back into Jackson with a Samoan Wrecking Ball. Only getting a two count of that sequence of moves, TOA lifts Jackson up for a Samoan Drop but Jackson slips down and counters with a swinging neckbreaker. Jackson connects with two unreleased belly-to-belly suplexes and released on an overhead belly-to-belly. Jackson is now getting fired up and is asking for TOA to bring it. TOA runs at Jackson for a clothesline but he ducks it. TOA turns back around and gets rocked by a Smashed Mouth, Jackson immediately going off the ropes and brings TOA down with a Blind Rage. Jackson brings TOA to his feet only to slam him back down with the Demolisher. Jackson then drives TOA headfirst into the mat with a slingshot brainbuster. Jackson whips TOA to the ropes, Jackson then runs the adjacent ropes setting up for the Pulverizer, however, on Jackson's side, Damien Steele ducked down out of view and grabs Jackson's foot. Jackson doesn't immediately trip, rather stumbles toward the middle of the ring and gets run over by TOA. TOA lifts Jackson up and plants him head first with an Island Driver, pinning him.

Jen Brunelli: Here is your winner, TOA!

Lily Luna: TOA just defeated the AXW Champion! Not without the aid of Damien Steele of course, but regardless, that may have been enough to put TOA in title contention.

Chris Pierce: If only Cole Haywood were out here, this was a perfect "I didn't see nothin'" moment. However, Bruiser Lazzou still has his AXW Championship rematch that he has yet to utilize, so if so, TOA will have to wait.

After the match, TOA looks down on the fallen champion, while TRENT walks out onto the stage, clapping and showing his approval for TOA.
