Other ELW News & Notes:

- It has been confirmed that six PLW stars will be appearing on the upcoming "Ignition" and "Turmoil" tapings, with major names among all of the signings. While Marco Cruze refuses to divulge in the details, the rumors are that all six have received hefty per-appearance contracts from ELW.

- The "Ignition" ratings on CW were up to a 1.19 while the "Turmoil" ratings on WGN Network were up a tick as well to 1.28. Network Exectives are apparently pleased with what they have seen and WGN is looking to renegotiate a longer-term deal by the fall with ELW as CW Network is also looking to get a deal done by the fall TV season as well.

- Word is that Sean Foster was spotted backstage by dirt-sheet writers at the most recent ELW tapings. Whether this means anything or not remains to be seen, but the addition of Foster potentially could help bolster the Traditional Virtues Title division almost immediately.

- Ambrose Ulysses Beauregarde reportedly suffered a serious concussion against Brian Aguirre and Coda Yaminaru during the finish of their match in Grand Rapids. The injury is so serious, in fact, that serious talks are being had about moving A.U.B. into a non-wrestling role within ELW, perhaps as a manager or the ELW Host, something CW and WGN officials have been pushing Marco Cruze to do.

- Word is that ELW and PWR both will be doing some roster releases in the coming days. We'll keep you posted upon finding out who all would be released by Death to Sports Entertainment.

- The recent ELW show in Grand Rapids was an official sell-out, while the ELW show in Ypsilanti filled the seats to capacity, but ELW had to give away 500 free tickets to fill the larger venue. ELW executives are encouraged by the fact that they didn't have to paper many seats in the larger venue, and are hoping to eventually by 2017 build themselves into a position of booking in larger arenas to give ELW more of a big-time feel to it.

- Word is that ELW is seriously interested in obtaining the services of NR2 CORPS from RSPW and either the JapaCana Connection or The Stevens Brothers to give the ELW ELITE Tag Team Division some more depth. Whether a deal can be reached, however, remains to be seen.

- ELW Executives were raving about Eddie Wright and look to bring him back for a second look as soon as May on another WYLD U Showcase. ELW Officials also had encouraging things to say about Devon Drake and his improved in-ring work, but they reportedly didn't seem to have a spot on the roster at this time for him.

- Rumors are that Christophe Smit was visibly upset backstage after his match and was seen having a loud, animated discussion with Justin Moreno, who was in attendance. Sources say that Smit is currently unhappy with his role in ELW and even threatened to walk out of the company, but fortunately, cooler heads prevailed and Smit stayed for the remainder of the show.
