Food Cabinet PWR News & Notes - Originally, the plan was to hold the Jacksonville show at the UNF Arena, but ticket demand was so high, the company had no choice but to move to a larger venue. Word is that if this show is a sell-out or close to it, expect more big arena shows for PWR's A-Show in the future. As of right now, tickets are on pace to sell out. - Cailin Dillon was officially handed her release following the PWR show in Albany, Georgia. Meghan Cross is reportedly taking this series of shows off to heal some nagging injuries and word is the company plans to revamp her as a singles face that the company sorely needs. - The Damien Black/Jonny Richter match was added at the eleventh hour to the card because rumors are rampant that Black is considering a comeback at 39 years old after taking time off to heal some lingering injuries and overall burn-out from the industry. While he's not expected to join PWR or ELW, his name has popped up in a few other places. - Word is that the House Shows will start in June in Mississippi with plans for one house show a month the week prior to TV tapings. Company executives intend to run house shows in smaller venues with "Adrenaline TV" in intermediate arenas and PWR's A-Shows in larger venues. - Word is that B.J. Jones is interested in a RSPW Tag Team to shore up an admittedly thin PWR tag team roster. Names that come to mind are Brodie Stevens and Lee Stevens and word is that they could immediately be in store for a big push in PWR if things work out. - Word is a major PWR Press Conference with B.J. Jones and Steve Corman is set to take place at the end of April to open "The Sound of Madness". Rumors of a major WSW/RSPW/PWR/ELW Super-Show are growing louder and more rampant, but Death to Sports Entertainment Executives remain incredibly tight-lipped on whether this will happen or not, and where the show will take place. |
