| Welcome to Expelliarmus. We hope you enjoy your visit. Expelliarmus is a Harry Potter AU RP set in a world where none of the characters of the books have existed. Instead, the story is driven forward by original characters, as they attend Hogwarts and uncover its secrets. We offer our players the opportunity to live the lives of wizards and witches without Harry and his friends, so they can make their own legend without relying on his story. You may play at ay year and as any house, or even a teacher, and as people graduate, more opportunities will arise, eventually making the world even vaster than it already is. Do homework, gain friends, duel and play Quidditch. All is possible in the world of Magic! Come play with us! |

Location: Hallway near Headmaster's office. Abraham Blackbourne, Headmaster of Hogwarts, had been spending almost the entire day in his office, caught up in a book. It was quiet in the days leading up to christmas, and it allowed the amn to take a breather and read some of his many books, which filled up several shelves all around the office. Eventually, however, he placed a small slap of paper in between two pages, like a makeshift bookmark. He then placed the book on the small round table besides his favourite chair, and stood up. Taking a look around the room, the man adjusted his jacket and walked over to the door of his office. Moments later, he appeared from behind a statue that guarded the way to the staircase leading up to the office itself. The halls were pretty empty at the time, as most students and even some of the staff, had gone home for christmas. Abraham, being the Headmaster, rarely decided to go home for any holiday, though it happened occasionally. As he continued his stride through the hallways, he passed a pair of large windows and stopped, taking a look outside, his hands resting on the windowsill. It was cold outside, but it was a beautiful day, he had to admit. He was more of an autumn man, but he had to give it to winter; it was a beautiful season as well... |

Vincent Castle, Head of House Slytherin and professor of the Defense Against the Dark Arts, also found himself walking the grounds. Professor Castle had spent the early parts of the day on his ever present chore, developing a proper lesson plans for the younger years. As always, it was a frustrating task and one he did not find himself quiet suited for. After coming up with a few research assignments, Vincent allowed himself a break after deciding that things were a little too quiet. Vincent grabbed his coat and took a moment to tidy himself before leaving his office, the path to walk already forming in his head. Vincent soon found himself in the same hallways as the Headmaster, spotting the man staring out the windows. An errant thought about how long the strange man might have been standing there entered Vincent's mind as he raised his hand and made himself known. "Ah headmaster, I would have expected to find you attending your books." |

The Headmaster turned his eyes towards the sky, looking for clouds, but it seemed the sky was just about empty. There would not be any snow like he had expected. Oh well, maybe tomorrow, he thought with a gentle smile on his face. He liked the snow, so pure and white. It made him calm. Suddenly, he heard steps echoing through the corridors. Turning his head, he noticed the familiar face, that of Vincent Castle, a recent addition to the staff and head of the Slytherin house. “Ah, Vincent,” the headmaster spoke with a friendly voice, turning his body to face the professor. “I was, in fact, attending my books, when I decided to take a little walk. You get sore if you sit down all day, after all.” his smile did not fade, as he turned his head back towards the grounds outside the window. “So, how have the break been to you? Thought up some exciting new ways to teach your students?” He turned back towards Vincent, before continuing: “As my mother always said: 'It's always a joy to learn, when learning is a joy itself'.” |
