Morty has nominated Twig to replace Ezekiel K. Stark as Minister of Public Information, following the latter's resignation. We look forward to senators' questions.

Thank you.

To the MoPI-designate,

What are your plans for the Ministry of Public Information? Do you have innovations for the department under your leadership?

I plan to keep the Ministry of Public information's thread and news up to date... maybe make some propaganda posters. Y'know, just general stuff.

I see. Thank you.

Will you open the MoPI for associates/interns/deputies who may help you craft updates, news paraphernalia, propaganda/promotional materials etc?

I see absolutely no reason that I wouldn't.

Are you going to do something about the huge number of newspapers that flood the news forum?

I agree with Usari. Most of the newspapers have been abandoned. It might be good to consult with the writers and archive them if the authors don't want to continue with it.

To answer this question on behalf of the government, we have plans as soon as the MoPI is confirmed to direct him to post public notices in each inactive newspaper giving each a week to post new content. If no new content is posted in a week's time, the inactive newspaper will be archived. This plan was actually discussed by the government before Twig was even nominated for MoPI but has yet to be implemented. It will be implemented as soon as he's confirmed, if not sooner.

Thank you Deputy Prime Minister.

Mr. Speaker if there are no more questions from our honorable colleagues, I motion to close deliberations and vote for confirmation.
