| Supreme Court Health Care Case; What will the SC say about the law? | |

Last week, The U.S. Supreme Court held three days of hearings for a case involving the constitutionality of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. This particular case is called Florida v. Department of Health and Human Services. The main stiking point as I see it is the mandate that employers and individuals have to buy health insurance. I'm not sure how the Supreme Court will decide on the case but I am very interested in hearing others thoughts on this topic. My personal prediction is that the Court will strike various parts of the health care bill (including the mandate) while preserving most of it as being constitutional. Any thoughts on this important case? |
