General: While she was once a free spirit, Sage has been broken. She no longer has hopes, dreams, goals. She no longer bothered to try to run away or stand up for herself when someone treats her improperly (which happens often). Where there was once a compassionate, empathetic person, there is now a hollow shell. A shadow of what once was - even her oddly colored eyes reflect the fact that she is essentially dead. She is also terribly, terribly afraid of men, for good reason.

Historical Info
Sage is an elf, born into a nomadic clan of elves that were not entirely like the Dalish and not entirely unlike them at the same time. They were gypsy like, bouncing between pedaling in the streets, picking pockets, or genuinely entertaining folks for a bit of coin, always dressed in differently, in brightly colored clothing to draw the eye. They were once a thriving band of entertainers and thieves, but then the Blight happened.

They happened to be inside the city of Gwaren when the Blight broke, and the troupe of elves decided to stay inside the protective walls - decided to wait it out in hopes that they could make a living while also staying out of the way of the darkspawn, and by not drawing too much negative attention to themselves and their thieving ways.

Sage was just an infant while all of this was happening, a welcome addition to the clan and a rare one - with snow white hair and fiery orange eyes. She was a beautiful little thing, from the day that she was born they swooned over her flawless skin and silky hair, and this fawning would continue as she grew.

The girl would learn much of her heritage, particularly the art of fortune telling, which she excelled at. Many referred to her as a witch, albeit in a positive manner as they viewed her craft as anything but malicious, due to her use of her magic to levitate the cards and other such things to enhance the little shows she put on.

Time would pass. Sage got older. The world became a darker place because of the Blight, which cast Gwaren into chaos. They troupe lived in the streets, barely able to afford to feed themselves. Times were dire, the young elf was getting scrawnier by the day, and the group was falling apart at the seams because they were just so hungry and desperate.

Then, a ray of light shone upon them - a wealthy dwarven noble offered to take the children in, to feed them, cloth them, care for them. The elves were skeptical at first, but they were also very desperate. The dwarf seemed genuine in his offer, even offered them some coin to help those that remained behind, so the elves were eventually won over by the doting dwarf and the majority of their young -including Sage - were sent to live with the nobles.

Or so they thought.

In truth, the man was anything but noble, in title or otherwise, and what they arrived to was not a sprawling mansion that could provide to them, but an auction. A slave auction.

Pretty little Sage brought the main a fair bit of coin, and the other children were rather easily sold off as well - some to be assassins, thieves, miners, prostitutes, or just plain slaves.

Of all the people that wanted to purchase Sage, a former templar just happened to be the one with enough to actually do so - rendering her magic useless. She tried to escape from him various times but was always met with the same brutal fate. As she, she is forced to simply remain a slave to this man, using her magic as parlor tricks to amuse him and his dirty old friends - often left to contemplate if she should just end her life and be done with it.

Time has passed, and she has long accepted that this is how life is. Hopeless. Dark. Bleak. She is not longer a whole person, merely a remnant of someone that she used to be long ago.

In addition to individual spells, mages have the ability to cast multiple spells in a row resulting in a spell combination. The character may now make Magic-Based techniques instead of just Chi and normal Techniques.

Abilities:
  • Elf (Free) - The elves are a race of graceful, elegant and magically adept people- tending to be slimmer and more fragile, with weaker constitution, they live up to 100 years old casually, the oldest dying at around 125. However, in return gaining natural benefits of increased magical abilities and enhanced speed. They gain +20% Dexterity, +20% Magic.

  • Mage - Force Mage (2 AP) - Force mages are a fearsome sight on the battlefield, bending the laws of nature to crush, toss, and debilitate their foes- gaining access to powerful Telekenetic and gravitational magics. They gain access to making special spells that are "Force" Spells. These spells are normal spells but always gain the benefits of Armor Piercing Spells, Attack Spells, and Debuffing Spells all wrapped into a singular spell, however this is the only benefit they gain from this.

  • Technique Master (2 AP) - The user is a natural master at utilizing techniques, allowing them to skillfully use anything that they need on the fly and do it well. This means that they naturally have an increased skill when using Techniques of any kind. All of their Techniques gain a free +8 Ranks ignoring the normal natural technique rank cap.

  • Magic Training (1 AP) - A basic level of training involving your natural chi or magical capabilities, amplifying their power and speed. You Gain a +20% to your Speed Stat for every AP put into this Ability, maximum of +60%.

    Description: Through the control of gravity, she is able to control anything she wishes- allowing her to lift things that weigh up to her (Magic Stat+8) as if it was her Strength stat. She can control them, move them, and use them through telekenetic control using this spell, as well as attack, defend, and so forth using them. She can only control up to (Rank/8) Items/Objects/etc at a time. If this is used on an individual they can resist is by using their Strength against her Magic. Using this on herself can allow a form of flight.

    Description: Through the control of gravity, she is able to release an incredibly strong blast of pure gravitational force- the impact slamming into them and then ripping outward with gravitational force. It travels at speeds equal to her (Magic Stat +8), and hits with the force equal to her (Magic Stat) as if it was her Strength stat. The damage ignoring natural defenses, gaining the ability to ignore up to (Rank) amount of breaking point of what it hits, as well as should it hit causing intense internal damage- causing a loss of -4 Strength, and -4 Dexterity for as long as it would last realistically.
