Kotaro, Avia, Azure and Whisper had all defeated the wizard causing the fire. After the long fight, Whisper departed onto her own path. Azure decided to join Kotaro and Avia on their journey. Azure rode his Leviathan and Kotaro and Avia rode on Kotaro's Dragon's back. They came to one of Aquara's small aquatic Islands. They were to make camp and rest for the night. Kotaro sat in a nearby tree. The leaves began to turn to their fall colors and cover the floor in which they slept. Avia's tent was set up and the fire was going. They fueled it dried leaves and sticks. Something didn't feel right to Kotaro. It would seem as if. . . they were being watched. For who knows how long.

Time to make some noise!
Avia stepped out of her tent in a nightgown. She sat down on a rock that surrounded the base of the fire. She looked at Kotaro and let out a small sigh. Avia wished that Kotaro would be more open, but she did not want to pry his business open. She watched as some of the leaves began to fall towards the ground. They were becoming such a beautiful color that it amazed Avia.

"Reclusive fellow isn't he?" A voice came from behind Avia. Azure took a seat next to her. He placed some Fish skewered on sticks by the fire. He looked calm and at peace with a relaxing smile on his face. The Leviathan slithered up onto the beach in the distance. It was keeping a careful eye on everything.

Avia was startled by Azure, almost forgetting he was traveling with them for now. She let out a sigh of relief and properly thanked Azure for the fish. Avia had to refuse the fish as she refused to eat meat of any form. "Azure, do you think Kotaro will ever open up to anyone?" Avia asked while looking into the fire. She was concerned if he was hiding something. Avia wanted Kotaro to know that he could depend on his friends.

Azure shrugged at Avia refusing the fish. He looked back at Kotaro the back at the fire. "Who knows. Kotaro is an odd one. He may never open up. He is trained not to." Azure said. He took a large bite out of his fish. The night was calm. There was almost no breeze. Azure leaned back to look at the stars. "He probably opened up to you, but not in the way you think. People are different and so how they act towards others." Azure smiled.

Avia nodded; she soon began to get up. She brushed the dirt off of her clothes. "I think it's about time for me to call it a night," Avia stated as she started to prepare for sleep. The angel started to make her way to a near by lake.

As Avia was walking, a sharp object flew from the tree tops. It landed right infront of Avia stopping her. "Where is Kotaro?" A male voice called from the tree tops. Kotaro sat in the tree watching over the camp fire with Azure sitting watching it. He heard something coming from the direction Avia walked in. He rushed from his spot towards her location.

Avia panicked when she saw the sharp object land in front of her. "What is this?" She asked herself after examining the object further. Avia turned around when she heard the voice, looking around the proximity. "Who's there?!" She shouted asking the owner of the voice. The angel had a spell in mind in case if something happened. Avia took an evasive stance as she continued to search the area.

Another voice came out of the tree tops. "It doesn't matter who we are. All that matters is the location of Kotaro." The voice shouted as if it came from several directions. The area fell quiet. A shuriken whirled passed Avia's face from behind. The small sharp star flew close to her face and hurled into the trees. If it was any closer, the shuriken would have cut her. "Avia, go get Azure and run." A familiar friendly voice called out. Kotaro stood behind her with a serious expression on his face. "My my, isn't he cute." One of the voices called out. Kotaro did not waver from the voices. He drew his ninjato from the sheath and readied it.
