A Compilation of the Remaining Island-Cities

Extensive exploration into the remainder of the ocean has shown us that the vast majority of other island-cities have disappeared. There is no sign of battle, no wreckage, no abandoned cities. We have found four other surviving states, Langhar, Selvator, Polukka, and Trier. The dynamics between the cities have changed drastically.

Langhar is at the center of the remaining world. They have the largest scientific research centers and laboratories. They make amazing strides in accessing technology of the olden age, however, as a result of their heavy focus, they are unable to sustain themselves. They sell the results of their research for supplies, and as they are humanity's best hope for surviving the threats out there, every other city has an unofficial truce to leave them neutral.

Selvator is the smallest remaining city, but as a result they are very mobile. They have mining bases all over the world, and are very vocal about their plans to retake the mainland. Nobody knows for sure if they have a chance at accomplishing this task, but they have been making more frequent expeditions onland.

Polukka is currently our biggest threat. Their entire city is militarized, and their population obeys the general without a second thought. Their strength is the only one that rivals the Elite Guard, and they have recently begun showing hostile behavior.

Trier is a medium sized city, with a cunning and ruthless leader. They are known for being passive until the moment they need to act to maximize their own gain. As such they are extremely untrustworthy unless they believe they can benefit from you. They are difficult to manipulate, but if you pull it off, they can be an unwavering force in your favor.

Are there other cities out there? Evidence says otherwise but it's always a possibility. Only time will tell.
