Where do I begin with this question?

It starts legitimately with the idea of true acceptance. This is an elusive trait few have the ability to exercise, especially in the world of The Walking Dead. With Rick, this has been something far and in between and he hasn't had the benefit of discovering it that often, how it truly feels to have someone look at him and understand him. Just simply understand why he chooses to be...Michonne is a woman who gets it. She is intuitive and smart. She is a person who allowed herself to be ruled by her gut and she knew that Rick was a good man, even in his shaky moments, even with a rocky introduction to what would become one of the best relationships on the show. There are several defining moments that mold and shape their relationship. First it began with Clear , at the end of the episode where Michonne recognizes something in Rick she had endured and struggled with in herself. At the end of the fourth season, we gain a finality to how strong and how much Michonne accepts him with the chat where Rick asks if she is okay.

What I love the most is Rick and Michonne will not be like Maggie and Glen. Their relationship starts from a raw, significant place where two people choose to judge and trust their intuition and it pays off. One of the scenes that demonstrates this is in the episode Claimed. Michonne pulls greatness from Rick. The "greatness" is the innate part of him who is a leader and she brings up questions to call that back to his remembrance. I loved when Danai describe that wonderful scene. It is, in my opinion, why Michonne is the best woman to stand by his side. When someone chooses to recognize what makes you great, you want that person to be there with you, to be a part of your life.

Also, the chemistry between the two characters is overwhelming to witness. They have it in abundance.

That is just a few reasons why I love Richonne. :D
