Tree map shows how haplogroup N via to Finland.
earlier branches usually appear in Kazakh, Korea, Japan, Ural.
it means origin of Haplogroup N should be East Asia.

in the Westerns, there are two big branches
N1c1a1a1-CTS2929 and N1c1a1a2-Z1936
it means Western N-M231 has not spread since Fins movement.
N1c1a1a1-CTS2929 seems they are expanded from Estonia,
and their distribution seems highly rated in Poland, Ukraine, Russia.
while N1c1a1a2-Z1936 seems highly rated in Finland and somes in Sweden and North Russia.

I think N1c1a1a1-CTS2929 was part of ancient Baltic tribes, and then they spread to Eastern Europe.
N1c1a1a2-Z1936 was part of ancient Fins, and now so far.
