Since I am organizing a lot of events, I often end up receiving a huge amount of donations for the rewards. But I have realized that the true meaning of an event is primary the joy you gain by participating and second goes the possibility of gaining a nice reward. So I am thinking there is no need of allowing our fellow clan-mates in donating huge amount of donations, that will probably end in a weird competition of who was the most generous or is more helpful in the clan, cause this is not the meaning of donating at first place. Plus, it may start to be a bit unfair as time passes, because it seems that somehow same people have a tendency to donate, although, of course donation is a voluntary action and people act like this with their own will. So I am thinking it is better to have a "cap" per event in up to 5 millions in donations for each clan member who would like to donate and not to allow them to donate more. This is something I have started already to do when people donate toward the event rewards, asking them to reduce the amount of donations to up to 5m or less, and not more, if their donation is more than that amount. This can apply to all clan members. What do you say?

great idea ![]() especially when it comes to poor clan members or those who have lower skills. we could make an exception with clan members who are very wealthy though. |

OK sounds good.. After all this idea is for protecting our fellow clan mates, rather than being a strict rule that will oppress them ![]() |

Allright so we have an official cap of 5 mils gp per clan event that regular clan members can donate towards but we can make an exception for very wealthy clan members who insist on giving more. |

Can I take this one step further? We have a gift exchange coming up - I almost didn't take part in it this year because last year I was given a gift that was extremely expensive - far more than that clan member should have spent. (I know she was struggling to level up skilling and the money could have gone towards that.) Can we ask that a $5m limit also be put in place on all gift exchanges? |

5m limit on that sounds like a good idea, gets awkward if some spend more etc |
