The sun hung low in the sky, casting a blood red glow over everything. Ravi smiled to herself as she followed the Leyline. This was the time of day in which her magic was the most potent. The time right before twilight.

Around her, the air seemed static, almost saturated with prana. Everywhere one looked the signs were obvious.

To those who knew where to look, anyways.

Plants bloomed well past spring, children were always energetic, and the people were all so full of life. The place seemed so full of life, but any Magi could tell you that it was because it was full of life. Saturated with Prana, so to speak.

She found an old church, not as old as the acropolis itself, but abandoned enough to suite her need. Considering that the old nun back north had called her a 'Demon' the irony was not lost on her.

The stones were black, stained by some fire dating back before recent memory. Her footsteps echo on the stones as she walked, trailing her hand along the wall as she followed the corridor. From ahead she could hear voices.

"Who's there?" The voice caused Ravi's heart to pause. She hadn't been counting on people here.

The Beast's eyes lit up. He quickly shook his head. "Oh no, you don't need to worry about fighting people like me. All you need to do is live, and I'm sure you can do that..." He smiled cheerfully.

This girl seemed as if she were troubled, confused. Maybe could be as much use to her as she to him...

"Alright, if you are confident in your abilities. If you do agree to help me in my mission, I will not harm anyone who can't harm you. Fair enough?" He smiled again. This... seemed right. This girl would be an excellent Master.

"I'd like to tell you, I could not do this without you. I will be happy to be allied with you. Shall we shake to confirm our new... alliance?" He extended his hand as far as he could, still bound by chains.

"I uh... Yeah..." Loa said, taking the man's hand. She felt a sense of dread, as if she should run, hide from what was to come, but she also felt that this could be a chance.

A chance to turn her life around.

The Beast smiled, allowing his satisfaction to show. He pulled his hand back slightly, signaling his desire to end the interaction. When she pulled away she would find a three part pattern on her hand, bearing a vague semblance to a trio of sixes. The Beast was unsure if the change would be obvious, but at this point it didn't really matter.

The satisfaction quickly transformed into motivation. This was a success, no doubt, but a it was only one step on a long road. There was still much to be done, and sitting around would not get him any closer to his goal.

"It's good to have you. Now, with all the spiritual details finished, I think it's about time we got of this island. Now that I have your support, there's no real reason we have to swim." He chuckled at his own joke, glancing towards the spot where the thugs had burned. He turned his gaze away so as not to give the wrong ideas.

He pulled stood up as well as he could. "I must confess something. These chains, while heavy, do little to bind me. However, once I break them I will not be able to protect you. It is a deadly but necessary exchange. Be prepared- you will now see the power of a God."

He shook the chains, preparing himself for what was to come. "Triduo in sepulcro, in aeternum in caelis" Around the Beast a golden ring appeared, and above the island a golden cloud. The cloud began to descend, forming a funnel directly in front of the Servant. The golden funnel began forming feet at the base of the funnel, then legs, a torso, arms, and finally a head. The ring and clouds faded away leaving behind a perfect replica of the Beast, minus the chains.

When the spectacle was over, both Beasts smiled at his Master. "Well, shall we go?"

"I'm honestly not sure what to think of this..." Loa confessed as she took her Servant's hand. It was a lot to mull over, and what had started as a hunt for a place to sleep had become something she wasn't too sure she should be part of.

Perhaps these thoughts would go away with rest. However, she had other matters to attend to.

As they left the reality marble, she glanced around, blinking in surprise. They were in the neighborhood she'd been in earlier.

"What now, Saver?"

The man in white robes, no longer an entity worth being called a Servant, smiled at his Master.

"Now we must learn of those who stand against us, and we must try to show them the light. On your hand is a red mark, the symbol of a Master. Not even I can level a mountain by myself; to succeed in our mission, we must find other Masters who will join in our cause. At least three Masters have already appeared. We will go on to request their alliance."

The Beast began to walk away from the mountain, but stopped suddenly. He blinked, remembering something important. "Oh, but excuse me. I've told you about myself, but what about you, Master? At the least, I must know your name."

"Ravi... But call me Loa." Loa said, hesitatingly. She was glad to be away from the lake of fire, but the whole War thing made her nervous. She fluffed her hair, letting the breeze catch it.

She felt self aware of the few people walking, that they would somehow know what had happened, and that her Servant would respond in the way he head earlier.

He'd promised he wouldn't, but so many people had broken their promises before.
