Trump Hosts First Official Movie Screening in White House Theater Amid Protests

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/trump-hosts-finding-dory-movie-screening-at-white-house-protests-969675

The timing of this drew attention on social media following the outcry and protests that swept the country Saturday night and early Sunday morning after the president's immigration ban went into effect. In addition to Iranian actress Taraneh Alidoosti boycotting the Oscars over Trump's visa ban, Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, whose film “The Salesman” is nominated for the foreign-language-film Oscar, has also decided not to attend the Oscars.
This is the first time I've ever heard any mention of a "White House Theater," makes me wonder what it features. Also, I noticed the article mentions how Hollywood has made it's movies available to the White house staff since the early 1900s...I wonder if the White House also has a film library of some kind or if they stream in the films from studio servers.
Guess it does make sense. Can't imagine the POTUS going to a theatre to see a movie among other movie fans or even reserving a theatre for just the president's family and staff along with his Secret Service. I recall seeing a photo of President Obama wearing 3D glasses watching a movie in the "White House Theatre". One of the fringe benefits of being the POTUS.

Hollywood’s Open Rebellion Against Donald Trump

http://screenrant.com/hollywood-donald-trump-criticism-backlash-oscars/

With the Oscars approaching, there is talk of a boycott because of Trump's immigration ban, but I think Hollywood will more likely use the Oscar stage to get their message across. This will most likely be the most political Oscars ever in light of Hollywood's overwhelming dislike for Trump and his latest act. This may make this year's Oscar one of the most interesting to hear who says what and to see the resulting fireworks. You can almost bet Trump will tweet a response to anything said about him. I will be watching. Anyone else going to watch the show?
Ashton Kutcher, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Blast Trump's Immigration Ban at SAG Awards

Sunday's SAG Awards may be a preview of what is to come at the Oscars, not who wins an award, but what to expect when it comes to Trump.

The PGA Awards were like the SAG Awards and with more to come at the Oscars I am sure.

Is anyone here a member of another movie forum?? The only other forum I'm on is Blu-ray.com
Only imdb.com if that counts. I am a member more for their database and voting privileges than for the forums.
Does anyone else here often visit imdb.com? I am a member and I know Johnny goes there often but wondering if anyone else here a member or visits the site to read the articles, comment in their forums or to use their database to find out about certain movies?
IMDb website is the best website!

A good summary of Trump to date and his feud with Hollywood but is he more a celebrity or the president?
