Welcome to Final Fantasy United! We are a up-and-coming Final Fantasy site mostly based around the Final Fantasy Tactics games (but with elements of all of them thrown in here and there) with an easy-to-understand system and a helpful staff group who are willing to help out with any questions, comments and queries you might have about anything! We are still undergoing the very final phase of finishing the site off, mostly polishing the last few locations and the like and if you want to help out you can find the Staff Sign-Up thread here! Our Grand Opening Event is also underway so if you want to get some sweet, sweet rewards just mosey on over to here! We hope to see you around! Tenken Final Fantasy United RP |

![]() Location Name: Tarapar Briefing: Known as the "Fortress City from Hell" Tarapar is a bleak place to look at, a bleak place to visit and one of the brightest and most fun-filled places to live in in the entirety of Terra. Yes, really, while Tarapar is an imposing place to visit or look at it's inhabitants are some of the happiest in the entire of the world, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. From the outside Tarapar is a hostile-looking place, a literal fortress with rising balustrades and battlements that jut out over thick, magic-enhanced walls that are nigh-impenetrable. The center of the city is an enormous castle, home to the leader of the Republic of Markarath at the time and the city itself moves outwards from the center in concentric circles. The city is designed in such a way for defense mostly, with four entrances into the castle in the center -in each of the cardinal directions- the castle also sits upon the highest part of the mountain atop which Tarapar is founded, with the streets around it not only moving outwards in circles but also sloping downwards slightly. With thick interlocking rooftops with battlements atop them any army attempting to siege Tarapar would find the perfect defensible position for the highly-trained city guard, with positions to fire down at invaders as they moved inwards and upwards. The city itself is made of a strange form of stone, enhanced with magic to be unbreakable but too thick to be used as a weapon unlike Runestone. It also resists any attempts to colour it, so the entire outside of Tarapar is a stark, unrelenting grey. Almost as if to make up for this fact however it is the interior of the buildings where the true Tarapar comes through. The interior of almost every building is bright and colourful, with thick rugs and tapestries covering the harsh stone and showing a brilliant underbelly of happiness and excitement in the city that would otherwise be intolerable as anything but a militaristic city. With one of the most rich festival-and-art lives of all the places in the world the citizens here are happier than most due to the inner rebellion they can each claim to have. They "rebel" against an unchangeable fact (the harshness of their homes) and as a result they are happy, able to live fulfilled lives - even if each one of them is ready to defend their homes in a heartbeat as well.
