Found a thread on /k/ we all know threads don't last long so here is the opening post it's kinda interesting. "Found something sorta interesting, a complete list of all the aircraft stored at the Davis-Monthan boneyard in Arizona. Even has variant breakdowns. Probably a bit out of date, though you can track aircraft individually through arrival and departure dates (there's thousands of aircraft there though, so it's a bitch). Also note that this is hardly a list of aircraft ready to put back into service, most of the KC-135s have been harvested of their engines for instance. Some legitimately are ready for reactivation, but it's difficult to track which is which. Also obviously some aircraft are just there for their spare parts, such as the Brit Harriers. http://www.amarcexperience.com/ui/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=205&Itemid=274" And here's a list for the lazy. >C-27 Spartan: 7 >C-12 Huron: 41 >T-34 Mentor: 164 >AH-1 Cobra: 23 >H-1 Huey: 74 >OH-58 Kiowa: 212 >H-57 Sea Ranger: 12 >B-52: 107 >C-135: 29 >C-137: 13 >C-22: 1 >CH-47 Chinook: 2 >E-3: 2 >KC-135: 171 >T-44: 13 >TC-18: 3 >H-46 Sea Knight: 103 >YC-14A: 1 >British Aerospace Harrier: 50 >O-2 Skymaster: 9 >T-37 Tweet: 80 >C-131: 1 >F-106: 1 >XC-99: 1 >A-3: 2 >A-4 Skyhawk: 148 >DC-8: 1 >A-10: 137 >T-46: 1 >C-21: 23 >F-111: 1 >F-16: 497 >A-6: 99 >C-1: 1 >C-2: 5 >C-4: 2 >E-2 Hawkeye: 31 >EA-6 Prowler: 24 >F-14: 10 (you'd think this is out of date, and you'd be wrong.
