For a while now, there has been speculation of a shared government with the region of Troy. A referendum was held within the Foreign Office which had a positive result and the shared government is now expected to go ahead. The shared government would probably be hosted on the Foreign Office forums (unless somebody else wants to host it on their forums instead) and would act as a federal government with the Foreign Office and Troy being like provinces within the federal government. In comparison to real life, this would be a lot like the USA or the UK in which a federal government manages the nation while state/regional governments control what happens within their area. We have been told that this shared government could unite many regions, not just the Foreign Office and Troy. It is expected that, should the shared government be successfully established, Troy will be able to invite regions to join the shared government and so would the Foreign Office. Do not worry; our control over the Foreign Office will continue. All Foreign Office legislation takes priority over the shared government legislation so that, if there is a contradiction/disagreement between the Foreign Office government and the Shared Government, the Foreign Office will be able to decide what happens. Our control over the Foreign Office is guaranteed.
