Ok i was a great fan of tom and jerry when i was young . I grew up watching them untill i thought i was too old to watch them. I grew up watching them and i belive they are the best cartoons ever made . I just wanted to ask are cartoons made only for kids? The thing is they are made by adults so why cant adults watch them? Is it embarassing if you watch cartoons becouse you are too old? |

I think originally it was made for children. Things have changed and now parents have to inform children that there's sorts of cartoons that aren't suitable for them. |

Depends on what cartoon it is. The Simpsons, in my opinon, is more made for adult nowadays. Some kids don't even get half the jokes and just watch it for the animation. |

Yeah, it depends on what cartoon you're talking about but in general, I think cartoons are for everyone. Mainly kids but adults can watch it too. It's not illegal or something. |

Dude, when I was young my babysitter would always put on Tom & Jerry because she thought it was entertaining to us. It's the most boring show I've ever been forced to watch! |

Just look at anime. A lot of its fans are teens and older (mostly) men... |

Tom and Jerry were classic and hillarious to me. I grew up on shows like Looney Tunes and other shows. |
