This proposal acknowledges the good intentions of the URoN Currency Act, but demands it's repeal. The currency itself will not be removed.

Section I: This statement is unnecessary as the currency has been adopted. I provides no benefit to the region.

Section II: As of the date of this proposal, a regional bank is impractical and has no means of sustenance. Though it is a good idea, it is not one that would work now and should be proposed at a later date.

Section III: Whilst I. is useful, it is also rather evident. II. and III. are completely unnecessary as legislation as the currency has been adopted and conforms to these.

All in all, this act has acted more as an instructional piece that would be better as a committee's mandate than legislation. It would, however, be better to have a piece of legislation detailing the procedure for the transfer of currency as well as law as the current URoN Currency Act deals only with crimes against the bank. It would also be interesting to consider punishing criminals with monetary reparations.

Per the Efficiency of Legislation Act, this proposal has been killed, however, I repropose it (yay made a new word, that's totally how it works).

It does talk about transfer just not in detail. So I must say I don't support this.

It simply says that is must be transferable and needs code and a calculator to track it. But who is allowed to make transfers? What if someone conjures money from thin air? What if someone steals money from someone? None of these are dealt with.

The MOC worries about transfers, people can't conjure it out of thin air. They make a post they get money that is how it is. The only way you can steal from someone on here is if your a minister.

The Act only says that transactions must be done through the bank which is managed by the MoC. And what if Ministers steal? what's the punishment?

They will be removed and all money returned and they would fall under the punishments stated in the Act.

Since only council members and senators can vote on laws, we cannot use polls anymore. Council members and senators must post their votes as replies in this thread. Senator Jebusee has already voted 'yay'.

Marginia votes YAY.
