The following adjustments have been made to the rulebook and will be in place effective IMMEDIATELY. Black Flags (This has been added to what was already posted): If a penalty occurs on the final lap that results in a penalty given by the game (such as for passing the pace car or passing under caution), that will be considered the equivalent of receiving a black flag. Whatever penalty is given by the game (usually a one lap penalty) will stand and the results will not be changed. It will be treated the same as black flags and will only be changed if the rulebook says a black flag would be cleared. Post Race Celebrations/Finishing the Race: When the checkered flag waves ALL drivers will be required to do a cool down lap. Non-race or non-championship winners will need to enter pit road after finishing and park their cars. If they would like they can sit in their pit stall and wait for the celebrations to end and then go back on the track and play around if they want. Race winners will make their cool down lap and then can celebrate. At the request of the winner other drivers can join them in their celebration but it must be mentioned by the winner that they are allowing them. Failure to do a cool down lap (which allows those who still need to cross the line for the finish time to finish) will result in a warning for the first offense. Any offenses after that can result in post race penalties and possible changes to the results (which could mean a driver being stripped of the victory). The severity of the penalty will be determined based on the conditions that occured. Inappropriate Behavior towards Other Drivers Members of FAST are expected to maintain a respectful attitude even when things do not go as they planned. This includes how they treat other drivers. All drivers are EQUAL in FAST which means no matter what your statistics say you are not considered better then another driver. Treatment of others as if you are will NOT be tolerated. We expect drivers to handle themselves in a respectful manner and if it is something that affects other drivers and how they are respected in this league we will penalize a dirver as needed. Should we have to penalize a driver for his behavior towards other drivers we will penailize them with the following: 1st Offense - 5 race probation 2nd Offense - 10 race probation, 1 race suspension in all series 3rd Offense - 20 race probation, 2 race suspension in all series 4th Offense - Removal from FAST permanently After 1 year an offense will go off of a driver's record. Inappropriate Behavior towards Officials Members of FAST are expected to maintain a respectful attitude even when things do not go as they planned. This includes how they respond to league officials. We expect drivers to show us the respect we deserve while we try and handle a situation. We expect time and respect to handle the situation in a proper and fair manner to ALL involved. Attitudes towards officials for any reason including a negative reaction towards a ruling or situation will result in the following: 1st Offense - 5 race probation, 1 race suspension in all series 2nd Offense - 10 race probation, 2 race suspension in all series 3rd Offense - 15 race suspension 4th Offense - Removal from FAST permanently After 2 years an offense will go off of a driver's record. |
